We create a gallery [rtmedia_gallery global=”true” per_page=”20″] that display the last 20 media uploads from all users. Works fine but I don’t want to show the media from the Buddypress Groups. I want that show only the media from the users Budyprees Profile.
We try with “Context” but don’t work for us.
Can you help us?
Thanks.
]]>I want to remove this action from RTMediaPrivacy Class
add_action( 'bp_activity_entry_meta', array( $this, 'update_activity_privacy_option' ) );
I don’t need this action as I am using child class to display privacy button on different location.

Thank you.
]]>I’m using the plugin RTMedia. It’s a great plugin but it’s missing a feature I really need for my site. You can add descriptions to media you upload, but when opening that media in a lightbox, the description is pure text so any URL’s posted aren’t clickable. URL’s need to be highlighted, copied and pasted, which isn’t ideal. My site allows the sharing of Fan Art/Cosplay etc sometimes sourced from elsewhere on the net so Users have to put the source in the description. It would really be much better if they could just click on the link.
I contacted the developers of RTMedia but they only had this to say:
‘We are not having filter to make the media description a link as of now. We may add one in future but its not possible for now.’
I kinda need this feature asap so does anyone here have any idea how it can be done? I may be wrong but it doesn’t seem like it would be a huge job to implement it.
Any help would be appreciated. Link to the site is here:

Click on any of the Fan Art closest to the top to see what I mean about the description in lightboxes.
Thanks, Chris.

]]>My first but certainly not last post in this lovely forum.
I got a request from a client. We are creating a portal for Swedish students and they are asking for a function where the users can upload study materials to different categories, based on different university courses.
I am only familiar with HTML and CSS and a I am pretty new in the WordPress world.
Do you think I am capable of this? Is there an easy way, a plugin maybe?
I am using Buddypress for the social plattform on the site and I gave rt Media a try for this function but did not get it to work.
Would love some help!
Best regards,
Maximilian
