https://drinkswithtony.com/feed/podcast
In wordpress on the posts pages all of them show a 404 error even though the links are fine and the episodes are still feeding.
BUT, I tried to upload episode 238, and I receive the 404 error during verifying, and the file is on the server: https://drinkswithtony.com/audio/228irissmyles.mp3
Yet, it shows as invalid url on drinkswithtony.com and tonydushane.com
This also happened to my tonydushane.com feed: https://www.tonydushane.com/feed/podcast which is where my radio station grabs the shows.
It’s across the board on my godaddy account with wordpress. I’ve scoured the forums, and I’m really confused, this is new to me, no issues since episode 1 regarding this.
The 404 error is new as of this week with my previous episodes, even though they’re still working and on the feed.
Thank you for your help,
Tony
I have some problems with the language tag in my RSSfeed and Apple Podcast.
Though I have the language tag used (
) Apple Podcast doesn’t accept that and my Podcast isn’t accepted into Itunes. I dont know what to do and it seems that nobody has this problem too. Can you help me?

is not encoding special characters (such as ampersands) and can cause distribution to Apple Podcasts or Spotify to fail.
Only found out by validating my feed through the w3 validator that the ampersand in Skids & Giggles is not encoded as &
.
Interestingly enough, it does encode the

and other fields.
Can this be fixed for a future release pls?
The site that I am using to retrieve the rss feed isn’t live yet so I couldn’t send it to you.
I need help with my RSS feed <https://poeten.se/poetpodden/feed> for my podcast which does not work properly according to Apple Support. They claim it depends on my host:
”We detected a technical issue when attempting to fetch content from your RSS feed. This is typically caused by server availability issues with your hosting provider. Please contact them to ensure that your show’s episodes and artwork are always available.”
My host SiteGround says:
”After an in-depth investigation, I found that the issue is caused by the plugin Blubrry PowerPress.
To troubleshoot that, I’ve installed the WordPress plugin “Healthcheck and Troubleshoot” which allowed me to disable all plugins and use the default WordPress theme on my end, without affecting the live version of the website.
With all plugins disabled, the rss feed is displayed in the browser:
https://take.ms/jD7Ch
When only Blubrry PowerPress plugin is enabled, it changes the MIME type for the feeds to text/plain when it should be set to RSS-compatible MIME type (for example: application/rss+xml) and when you try to access the RSS feed, the browser is trying to download the file instead of opening it:
https://take.ms/rqmG1
or depending on the browser, it simply displayes plain text: https://take.ms/gp4zw”
Grateful for help!
