This is a top notch plugin from an excellent development team. I use the plugin on the website for my email newsletter, surfacing previous emails on the site. I would recommend this plugin to anyone looking for an RSS aggregator plugin!

Incompatible with Breakdance builder

Hi i am trying to use RSS Aggregator with Breakdance builder to have some automated blog posts but seems like its interfering with my main site builder Breakdance.

Please see the error below:

Cannot import from American Psych Assn journal RSS feed

The above rss feed lists recent publications from an American Psychological Society journal – the link to the feed is at https://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/psp/

However I get the following error message when the feed does not fetch:-
Failed to fetch the RSS feed. Error: A feed could not be found at ‘https://content.apa.org/journals/psp.rss’; the status code is ‘200’ and content type is ”

The feed does not require authentication.

I’d be most grateful if you could advise me what to do!!

RSS Aggregator works well and saves lots of time. It’s perfect for curating content. I”ve used it on several sites, and no problems. The full post import add-on is great, but not every post that the RSS Aggregator imports is ideal for importing, but that’s not a fault of the plugin – it’s because of the code of the imported page.
Also, if you need support, they follow up very well.

Using WP RSS Aggregator, I have been able to populate my websites with timely, relevant articles. It is very reliable, and there’s a lot of depth to it when you get into all the features. From filtering posts to a variety of display options, prepending and appending capabilities. I am very pleased with the Pro Plan purchase.

Can’t parse Mashable RSS Feed

Why is it that another web based reader has no problems displaying the Mashable feed but your plugin can’t do it?

This is one example of several feeds that will not work with your plugin, although if you plug them into a web based reader they work fine.

I have several other feeds I would like to diaply with the same problem, yet I have many other feeds that do work. I can;t figure out why some jsut won’t work with your plugin.

I’m am trying to use the shortcode for a feed and I want to exclude one particular category from the feed as well as use a template I’ve created. It works fine when I *don’t* exclude a category but when I try to exclude the category, nothing changes – that category’s posts are still included.

I’ve tried all of the following to no avail:
[wp-rss-aggregator source=”8061″ template=”connect-template” exclude=”40″]
[wp-rss-aggregator source=”8061″ template=”connect-template” exclude=”ogpp”]
[wp-rss-aggregator source=”8061″ template=”connect-template” exclude-category=”40″]
[wp-rss-aggregator source=”8061″ template=”connect-template” exclude-category=”ogpp”]

And I’ve tried putting the exclude parameter before source as well as between source and template. Nothing works to exclude that category.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Data Tables Not Working With RSS Aggregator

The Data Tables aren’t compatible with my RSS Aggregator. Is there an RSS Aggregator that you recommend that IS compatible?
