Canvas Image Resize – rotated images

Hello,
When I upload images to the media library with the “Canvas Image Resize” plugin activated, the images are rotated. With the plug-in deactivated, the images are uploaded normally.
I don’t find any attitude towards this.

Images rotated in slide

Trying to create a slide show with 8 images. The dimensions of the uploaded images are mostly 1920×2560. 6 of the 8 images get rotated in the slide show. 2 are OK. One of the OK images’ dimensions is 1577×2560. The other that is OK is 1920×2560 like most of the others. I have tried many combinations of the settings but still have the issue.

I did add the images as standalone images on a page as well as added them to a table. Every one looks fine that way. Only issue is in the slider where 6 of the 8 get rotated sideways.

Is there a way to tell it to NOT rotate the image in the slider.

I am on Version 3.4.4 which I believe is the latest.

Rotated Images and broken links

I’m not sure if this has anything to do with Foo Gallery but…
After uploading to the Media Library and clicking the Edit button the Edit Media window sometimes shows the image rotated. Sometimes it’s 90 degrees and other times it’s 180 degrees. While in the Edit Media window when I click on the Edit Image button it always returns a broken link. Using an FTP client I browse to the the image and click it for a preview and the image is always correct. The image stored on the server is never rotated.

I first noticed this while uploading images to a new Foo Gallery. Some of the thumbnails were rotated. After completing the gallery and viewing it on the WordPress site the images were in the correct orientation. This is they were correctly displayed while using Chrome. I just realized that if I used Safari the images are showing up in the rotated position.

Anyone know why the image links are always broken? Any ideas of why some images are getting rotated?

Hi all –

Having issues with images being rotated on iPhones and when embedded into posts (like when someone shares via facebook or google plus, etc). I am rotating these photos OUTSIDE of wordpress and it’s still happening.

I found a number of other people complaining about this issue in this forum but none of those threads were resolved. Please help! I’m a new blog and don’t want to look like a total amateur.

Why do some photos rotate on its own when viewed on a mobile site?

I am new to WordPress and currently having problems with some of the photos. The template theme I installed is called Path (version 0.2).

The problem I currently have is that I have some images rotating on their own. On my website called Stamp That Passport (.com), the images are fine. However, when I look at my site from my iPhone, some (not all) of the images are position differently, meaning that they are rotated somehow.

For example, if you look up the post titled “Top 5 Places to See the Eiffel Tower” on my site from your laptop, you’ll see that the image of the Eiffel Tower is position vertical (straight). Now, if you go to your mobile phone to look at the same post, you’ll find that the picture is positioned horizontally, meaning that the image has rotated to the left. I don’t know why this happens on some (not all) images. More important, I don’t know how to fix the problem. Can anyone out there help me? Please. Thank you in advance.

When I watermark images that are vertical, the image is rotated horizontally. Is there a way to change it so my images aren’t rotated?
