• Every time I select a menu item to change and click a role (to add or remove visibility), the first click adds the avatar shortcode to the menu heading. I then have to manually delete it each time.
• When I select a combination of roles for the visibility of one menu item, that combination appears to be copied to every subsequent menu item (thankfully not to all, but when there are lots of menu items/submenu items below, it’s most irritating to have to change them all).
• Most annoyingly, the selections I am making appear to make no difference. I have three bespoke user types created by the Members plugin. I can select these types/roles to show or hide specific menu items, but the plugin just hides them all, sort of defeating the point of having it…

DMiDP 2.4.3
php 8.1.30

Has anything changed recently that could be causing the third failure? (The first one was present when I first installed it.)

Only when I set the note for the role “Author” do the users with the role “Agency_Pro” see the note. But so do all other users. Unfortunately, I cannot specify that a certain note is only displayed for a certain role.

I’m getting into a bit of a mess with:

1. Hiding the admin bar by user role – including custom ones created using permissions pro;
2. Hiding the admin bar by media query (and not leaving the white space behind!);
3. Media queries themselves and appropriate breakpoints for mobile landscape & portrait and tablet landscape & portrait (one of the things I am looking to do is to hide the toolbar on a mobile landscape version of a user logged in to the front-end.

Crucially, I don’t want to lock down the access, just hide the view of it. I am using Elementor Pro but I would politely encourage you to stop and think twice before suggesting this post is in the wrong forum because, essentially, it is WordPress core functionality that I am trying to target (allbeit that I am trying to put the rules into Elementor’s Site Settings custom css area.

I have tried applying:

margin-top: 0rem !important;
display: none;
}

or

head { margin-top: 0;

}

and no joy with either.

Also, noticeably, the breakpoints currently in place affect both portrait and landscape view on mobiles. I was trying to hide the WordPress toolbar on mobile landscape view, and, for further reference, with and without being defined by the user role logged in.

i would like restricted the capacity to upload a new media on a role with a custom post type.
I just want to read and use medias that have already been upload.

How i could achieve this task with members ?
With the actual parameter i can only enable or disable the media on dashboard.

Currently I have added a role using User Role Editor and removed all shop edits from this user except reading and edit order permissions.

But this user can still see stuff like Order Actions, Order notes, Shipping labels, and Refunds. Is there a way to remove all of these sections for this user?

Even when the user has one of the roles with access to the backend (wp-admin), Ultimate Member redirects back to the frontend.

Solution: Deactivate/uninstall extensions which enable/unlock additional user roles.

Is it possible to allow editor (or custom roles) to edit and manage the plugin, or at least the redirect rules?

since the recent update to version 2.3.17, I can’t log in to WordPress with a user role other than administrator. All other user roles (like editor) trying to log in get the error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
The issue disappears, when I disable the Responsive Gallery Grid plug-in and reappears as soon as I reactivate it.
