I am getting a parameter 2 error in rewrite.php on the in_array call.

I am pretty certain it’s this as the error goes away when I deactivate the plugin.

Currently running 4.2.2 Multi-site, just turned over to MS 48 hours ago. Has anyone seen this error before ???

Now; none of the types of permalinks on the site work, AND the only time the error does NOT appear is by using the “default” link structure (aka – ugly links)… Very strange… checked the code in question with a matching file from a “new / fresh” install – no difference… even tried replacing it with the one copied from the fresh install… no change. So the file didn’t get damaged. the only recent activity is an UNinstall of some unused plugins. Nothing new added recently. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Plugin page blank apart from error text.

I tried to back date a plugin to a previous version, the plugin is “Promotion Slider” by first deleting the current one and installing the older version.

That seem to go well but when I went back to my plugin page all I have is:

Anyone have any ideas what this my be and how to right this problem.

I figure (might be wrong) but I think its trying to reference the plugin I had installed and can’t find it, therefore throwing out the error.

I’ve just installed the current Multisite onto my Godaddy unlimited hosting account to begin testing it. Everything has gone smoothly thus far except one little quirk when attempting to create a website. The subdomain foldername that I create is created as the actual https:// url, and does not include my hosting domain name. The error message I get is this:

The folder I wanted the new website to appear in was “test1”. I expected to get a result of https://mydomain.com/test1, but instead I just got https://test1.

My blogs.dir folder has a CHMOD of 705.

Have a I missed a setting somewhere?

HELP – messed up the wp-includes rewrite.php file

So I’m using ipage with the domain cuperu.org and I had a friend build me another website using wordpress and the subdomain cuperu.org/newsite.

I’m not very IT smart and was attempting to make this new website viewable directly at cuperu.org. In the process of trying to figure out how to switch the subdomain to be the main domain, i was told I need to fix permalinks on my wordpress. I then tried to save the rewrite.php file and upload it to the ipage file manager under newsite folder, wp-incudes folder. I think I may have erased something because now I’m getting this message when I try and visit the URL cuperu.org/newsite

When I delete the rewrite.php file thinking that it is causing something bad. I get a different error:

after an update my gallery doesn’t work anymore. Here’s the Error-Code:

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/rewrite.php on line 52

I’m using Next-Gen Gallery Version 1.7.4

My Server Settings are:
MySQL Version : 5.0.67-Max
PHP Version : 4.4.9
PHP Safe Mode : Off
PHP Memory Limit : 32M
PHP Max Upload Gr??e : 8M
PHP Max Post Gr??e : 8M

Maybe it depends on the PHP Version??? I don’t know what to do. Please help!

As it is known it is possible to change from the default structure to custom structure like category/%category%/ in “category base” option. But how to take special “base” for posts, like posts/%posts%? I need category/%category%/ for categorys, posts/%posts% for posts and
archive/%archive%. Is it possible?

Robots.txt created by rewrite.php?

I’m working on a design at this url: https://www.mylessinclair.com/about/ and wanted to see how it looked in other browsers. The site I used for this function returned an error saying that a robots.txt file disallowed access.

When I FTP the site, there is no robots.txt file present in the /public_html folder. It seems the file is being created dynamically through the rewite.php file in the wp-includes directory.

My first thought was that the output is being affected by the selection under Privacy Settings in the WP Admin panel. However, when I change the selection to show

I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers

The output of the robots.txt remains exactly the same. I’m guessing the above settings only affects the meta information on the pages produced.

So, I’m a bit confused as to what the currently produced robots.txt file is actually achieving? and how do I edit it? Although the rewrite.php file seems to be generating the file, it doesn’t appear to include the current output!

Hope someone can advise.
