I’m running into problems with the Post Expirator. When I try to select “2022,” it appears to be fine, but when I save, it reverts to “2021,” and I’ve had a couple of things unpublish.
Is there a way to fix this? it works fine for 2021 events, though.

W3 TOTAL CACHE CAUSES WP TO REVERT TO OLD CONTENT

When running WordPress 5.3.2 with Zakra theme and W3 Total Cache v0.13.1 the site often reverts many of its pages to old content from last summer 2019. THis was happening once a month, then became daily!

The conventional WP Editor retains the correct version but when we use it to try to “Update” the pages with the new content it fails and retains the old 2019 content.

Deactivating W3 TC fixes it, with no problems since then, two weeks ago.

We disabled the new WP editor “Elementor” which we also found unreliable, perhaps connected.

Menu showing up in Primary spot

I am attempting to put a mega menu in the Secondary menu spot, but every time I click away from the Menu page on WP-Admin Dashboard, it resets to both Primary and Secondary position (as you can see on the front page of the site linked www.floridakeysoffice.com)

WordPress Theme TwentySixteen keeps reverting changes to files

For example, I’ve made full sweeping changes of the theme’s style.css and header.php (several more) files. Yes, I know I should use a child theme. HOWEVER, I don’t want to override 4,000 lines of parent css in my child theme’s CSS. I need to touch the parent theme’s code. The Posts/Pages and all that are fine but the actual files seem to update/revert to their original state every 4-6 hours.

I looked at my site again this morning and all changes to files were reverted. I checked my FTP and it looks like at 5:33am all my files in themes/twentysixteen were touched.

I’m using git-ftp to just make changes through ftp. This is a weird one…

Translation keeps reverting automatically

I make changes and it works. the next morning. I see the changes revert. what’s happening. are the language files saved in folders that I am not supposed to? by the way I am using it to translate woocomerce. I simply translate some few words works fine after saving and the next day everything is gone back. can you help?

Drag/drop reordering not working – but it does once!

Hi, I read a previous thread about the drag reordering not working, the thread was closed as resolved but I’m having same problem. I’ve updated to Version 1.2.32 today.
The drag/drop reorder works when you first vist the page, but if you try to move a second item, it looks ok in the tree view but it hasn’t updated on the front-end.
When I return to the tree view, only my first move has remained in its place, the other 20 I did all reverted to old position.

This is quite a frustrating job for me as my site has 738 product pages which should be in alphabetical and numerical order, but they’re not.

Is there a patch available to fix this?

Table Properties Revert after Update

I use the Autoimport option to update the values in my table.

After moving the column order and rename the headers everything looks great. However, after each autoupdate, the header text is reset, the hidden columns unhide, and the order reverts back to before my changes.

Is there a way to save the changes permanently even after the auto-updates?

Revert Issues

I’m new to Revisr and finally got all the pieces working to push commits. This is on a live staging site – not local.

We started testing reverts and it doesn’t seem to work.

I made a change to the custom CSS file. Then committed and pushed to BitBucket. Confirmed in BitBucket it made it to the repository.

I then reverted the commit from the website. But nothing changed on the website. The CSS file stayed the same.

Is there a process that I might be missing?

I checked some of the other support posts and see that you ask for the following. Everything seems to be working.

Operating System Linux
Exec() Enabled true
Git Install Path /usr/bin/git
Git Version git version 1.7.1
MySQL Install Path /usr/bin/mysql
File Permissions true
Repository Path /var/www/vhosts/domainname.com/httpdocs.

Let me know what I need to do.

Meta Description

Hi everyone!

Please forgive my Nievity. I know nothing about PHP or coding etc. Please treat me as a complete idiot with regards to the world of Web Sites.

We had our WP website set up some time ago and recently have upgraded our theme to ProPhoto. Since our upgrade, we have tried many a time to change the meta description on our home page. The only way I know how is to navigate to a page and alter the meta description in the box to what I want then click update.
Usually this works a treat. For some reason when I change the description on the home page and update it, it reverts back to the old original description.

I must be missing something obvious here, but as I say, I’m a bit of a novice at all this stuff.

Any help would be greatly recieved.

Changed Child Theme, Now Layout Completely Changed and All Customization Gone

I started working with a child theme yesterday, and I have had so many problems. Right now, I’m just trying to get something workable, but when I attempt to replace my title text with an image in the header.php I created, the entire blog reverts to standard html (Times New Roman, blue links, etc.) and the theme is totally gone. The sidebar disappears, etc. Here:

It appears that this happens any time I alter something in the header page.

In addition, I received this error message:

around which I can work, somewhat, but I feel like this is not good? And it makes changing basic functions quite difficult. Please help! I am so close to literally banging my head against the wall. It would feel better than this.

Edit: Actually, the “cannot modify header information” pops up when I attempt to preview a draft, also, making it pretty difficult to write new content for the rest of this week. Ahhhhhh!
