Hello, I have been using this plugin for years. In the registration screen I only have first name, last name and password. I noticed that it is possible to add another field, e.g. ‘biographical info’ and I can also change the name of the field. I would just like to ask one thing, or rather two things: to add a field in this way, do I have to uninstall and then reinstall the plugin? Another question: where is the value of this field stored in the database (and what name does it have)? I should be able to retrieve it from a custom plugin code. Thanks

Retrieving Stats of My Website / Discontinued the use of Plugin

Hello,
I encountered some issues with JetPack (whenever I activated the plugin, the memory and cpu usage was so high that I couldn’t access my admin board on WordPress on GoDaddy) I was using this for past 1 year, never had such issues. But, the website went down for a long time so I decided to finally deactivate it now the website loads fine with Google Analytics.

But, I lost valuable stats in the process.
Can I get them back?
I have the plugin file with me (before deleting it)

Hello everyone,

Thank you for reading this topic. I’m having difficulties retrieving information from the WordPress db. I know what information I want from my database but I don’t exactly know how to code it. I hope you guys can help me started.

Here is what I want to achieve.

I want to add a couple of tables to the WPdb which contains information about product prices and links to images. Each table represents a supplier. This part I can do using a tool to import a CSV file.

The next part is to create a function in the function.php to extract the information from the tables. Each post gets a specific productnumber in a Custom Field. When the post is created the function should be called and looks at the productnumber and checks if the productnumber matches a field in de productnumber column in each table. When a field matches, the other fields in the row should be remembered. When all tables are checked then the result should be a list of prices sorted on the lowest price first together with the corresponding images

I know that I should call the global $wpdb to connect to the database. It’s especially the conditional SQL queries I’m having difficulties with.

Does this make any sence? I hope you guys could help me started with the coding on this. Many thanks in advance!

Hey guys, with the Typograph option I can retrieve the values using

$type = get_option_tree( 'type' );

But how do I get the values specifically?

So if I want to add the font family to my CSS what do I use to get it?

But that doesn’t work, it just outputs a comma for some reason, any ideas what I’m doing wrong. I’m a newbie to this so it would of been cool for examples on how to use them all but I guess I’ll have to learn
