When you add a resume from admin wordpress dashboard the “skills” are suggested based on the existed ones (like happens with tags). When you are an employer and search resumes in the front end, skills are also suggested while you are typing.
But when you are a candidate, the field “skills” does not suggest anything. The candidate type whatever. I don’t know why the field doesn’t behave the same as the other roles. I don’t see the logic of that. Because in this way you will find the same skills over and over again written with typos or the same skills with different phrasing. I’ve contacted the Theme developer and told me that is the way wp job manager + addons behaves. Is this correct ?
]]>How can I download 10,000 Resumes ONLY? The only options I get for bulk actions are 1) delete, 2) archive, or 3) CSV export. I wish to BULK download their actual resume attachment – PDF OR WORD format attached.
Please help since I need to do this and I do not wish to download 10 thousand resumes individually.
]]>we are facing an issue, where we want to give our users an opportunity to submit resumes without a WordPress account.
Submitting listings requires an account field is unchecked, and Enable Forced Front End Login is unchecked.
Any idea what we should look after to let people submit resumes without an account – we would love to use – Allow account creation – so the system would generate an account for them.
thanks a lot
Boza
Can anyone see an obvious mistake I am making?
Can anyone explain how to make these visible only to the candidate who owns them.
I had a huge struggle at first, but this seems to be the last hurdle now,
Thanks
]]>I am hoping to add a section to my WP Jobs Manager Resume submit page.
I would like users to be able to upload multiple images to their newly created resume the same way they are able to list their skills, etc…
I also want to make sure that these images are shown on the individual’s resume page.
I tried the “add a field” Snippet, but this example is for “text”. I am unsure how to add a field for images.
Thanks for the help!!!

]]>Like many people prior (a year ago) the limitation of where the file is saved (WP-Media vs. Secure location) is problematic because we use a Managed Host which does not allow us to put “Secure Location” files outside our WP directory.
So we had to use WP-Media which is less than optimal but whatever. Right now can not get the emails with the files. Our HR people CAN NOT log into and view resumes in WordPress as they re not technical enough so they rely on getting them via email.
Please advise if this is a known bug or if something changed with last update???
]]>after looking through the forum I wasn’t able to find a similar post, please tell me if I’m wrong.
I use WP JOB MANAGER, and whenever I try to set up categories for resumes, the resume list doesn’t seem to be found on the manager. If I deactivate the categories option, everything works fine.
Does someone have an answer please ?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
it would be great if job seekers can post their profile anonymous. If their employer is on the same platform it’s a kind of difficult. If this options works it should have the function “private message” to contact them. Has anyone some experiences with a plugin for private messaging?
