I have a draft for a Home page – see the image.
Which WordPress theme is best to use to easily create such a Home page, either as a landing page or regular Home page. I would prefer to use a free theme if such is available.

I have been steadfastly working on our website. Unfortunately, using certain themes don’t always work. Either something is wonky with the mobile visibility or something else glitches. Then, you deal with the customer service issues. The latter is particularly bad with some themes. NOT Candid and the Refined Pro! At MoviesMatrix.com, we’ve had this theme and it has already showed a spike in readers. But the customer service — namely my guy Bijay with Candid — was splendid to deal with in terms of responsiveness, attention to detail, and worked just as hard to find a solution. Go with this theme or this team at Candid. You will not be sorry!

Received wonderful support from Yojana at Rarathemes when I was stuck with the demo import for this theme. But in quick time Yojana responded to my SOS call and resolved the issue. I have used many other themes from other theme developers such as appthemes but I have yet to find themes that are so modern, responsive, attractive and easy to adapt to your business. Their after sales support is also superb which I did not get from other theme providers. I wish RARATHEMES all the best for the future and hope they can create more creative wordpress themes!

Hello there,
we are working on a charity website and we’d need some guidance about text and images in a responsive theme which uses Site Origin (Sydney Theme): we thought that one of the ideas behind a responsive theme was that the layout of a row (images and text) would shrink or expand according to screen size, but that the proportion of the elements would remain the same regardless of the computer screen ? (we understand that instead on tablets and mobiles images get stacked). That is what we would like to have for example on the weblink attached, but it doesn’t seem to be doing it. Is that a workaround to that? (we hope it makes sense, we can send screenshots if needed).

Even though these themes are dated they still are the best responsive themes out there.

Hi –

I’m a newbie to setting up a responsive site. I’ve had my site up for around 3 years (https://bio4climate.org) and at long last need to set it up to be responsive to cellphones and tablets. I don’t know where to start, and can’t find the information I need on the web.

I have the 2012 theme with the latest update (~2.0, did it today). When I enter the URL to the home page (a sticky post) it lands on another post. I’m suspect that’s only the beginning of the problems.

Suggestions most welcome – where do I start?

My theme says mobile responsive, but shows a basic view on my phone

Hello Everybody,
i am currently using a customizr theme, it says mobile responsive, but when i opened it on my phone, it looks basic, then i added the same theme on a new website and it showing perfectly on it.
can you please help me out.
i have tried installing different responsive theme on that particular website but it just shows as basic on my phone, but others are perfect.

Please can you help me out?

hello,
I am trying to learn building themes , so I learned little htm,css,php .
now I am trying to make my own theme , but I want to have it also responsive.
I am going to follow also courses on linda.com.
now to make things more fast I liket to have a responsive free theme as a guidelines for me . I see some responsive free themes which are made by bootsrap .
so my question is now:
1- if I want to use this kind of themes which are made with bootsrap I thing I have to install bootsrap framework am I right or wrong?
2- I thing also then I have to learn bootsrap or it is not really needed?
3-is bootsrap framework is free or you have to pay some fee?
4-in modern time wat is the best way to create fully responsive themes on your own desires is that bootsrap is a must or also you can do it in usually ways?
very short answers wil be enough.
