Sizing In-Feed Ads

Hi,

After trying a bunch of things, I finally realized my Adsense in-feed ad wasn’t showing between posts because there was no size designated for it.

However, you can’t set viewport widths in the Adsense settings and simply setting a fixed width is not responsive.

I tried using the CSS class for the ad inserter code block and then I tried wrapping the ad in a class, then setting responsive widths, but that was not working.

Is there a way to make Adsense in-feed ads so they’ll be around 330px (33.33%) on desktop but 100% width on mobile?

On our home page, I am currently working on only one ad section below the initial content section and above the Trending Now (with the 1, 2, 3, 4). We have been using only banner ads which are great for desktop and tablets but really small on mobile phones. I am now trying to implement one version of the ad for desktop and tablet and one version for mobile (that is larger). I have read the article on Responsive Ads (https://wpadvancedads.com/manual/responsive-ads-documentation) and have tried various scenarios but cannot get it work. Ideally, I would like to use only one Group but that doesn’t seem to work. Currently, we have a Group for only Desktop and Tablet with the only ad in that group visible if Visitor Conditions are “Browser Width is equal or higher than 480”. I created another Group for only mobile with the only ad is that group visible if Visitor Conditions are “Browser Width is equal or lower than 479.” The Desktop and Tablet are working fine but the mobile setting is not. Thoughts or problems with this setup?

hey guys,
unfortunately i am not able to embed responsive Google ads with advanced ads pro (incl. Responsive Add On). I’m using Oxygen Builder with WP Rocket.
Google Ads with a fixed height and width can be injected automatically without any problems. However, as soon as I want to insert responsive ads in the exact same place, only the ad label is displayed and no ads.
Ad health is telling me that everything is fine

I appreciate any help or sharing of positive experiences with Oxygen! Thanks

This is to all users using AdSense Responsive ad units, including the new In-Article ad type with problems showing them up, while other ad units work.

This problem exists for years with AdSense and does not depend on the plugin used to implement it. We might be able to fix it together, though. Therefore, I need some real-life examples of sites experiencing the issue.

If your responsive sized ads are not showing up and you get a _Cannot find a responsive size for a container_ error in the browser console, then please reach out to me directly.

I purchased the Pro version because you changed the free plugin to not show responsive ads. I have placed responsive ads on my site but they are not showing. Am I doing something wrong?

This plugin works great with standard javascript ads, however when trying to display responsive javascript ads they do not display at all.

Responsive Ad Units

At this time, is it possible to use responsive ad units on WordPress? Specifically, I am looking at units that are NOT AdSense.

The site I would like to add a Rising Star unit (an ad that moves around the page, kinda floats) to is www.tvruckus.com. I am not versed in code, so if there is a simple way to do this (like a plug-in), it would be great. Currently, our site is using plug-ins to place ads, including AdSense, but they are not responsive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
