Image group increasing site size

The Lightspeed cache plugin creates different dimensions of image groups for a single image. That is significantly increased my site size (single jpeg size 200kb – optimized webp image group size 3Mb).

Is there any way to use the single image without creating different resolutions, or reducing the image group size. Removing these different image versions will reduce the loading speed?

It will be a great help if someone gives me a solution.

Feature Images mechanism

I copied you template to my site and it looks great.

I tried to change the big image in the “top stories” section from the relevant post “feature image”.

I tried several pictures with different dimensions, but none was good.

I also notices that the same picture can appear in different sizes in the page.

Do I need to upload the same picture in several resolutions?
What to upload and how?

1024 resolution error

On various pages with columns, with Nimble Page Builder & Customizr Pro, I can not keep a higher alignment in various resolutions (1024 * 768, 800 * 600,) with pages like this:

Hi,

My problem is the section in the header where there are 4 orange buttons. I have created 5 different cases with @media, so that it looks good on my computer in every usable resolution of the screen. Also with a few different browsers. However on the computer of my friend, who uses one of this resolutions and the same browser as me, it looks different.

How is it possible? How can I fix it? Any ideas?

Would it be bad to list all possible device widths?

I noticed that there are only 3 different device widths in the Resolutions field. I’m very tempted to google all the possible device widths and add them all to that field but I wanted to make sure that is not a bad idea before I do so.

Hi,
I’m using WP v3.9.2 and I have a trouble while trying to add media to a post. When I try to add media to a post, upload starts and after second or two I’ve got an error message: error while uploading file. This always happen. But when I check the folder in wp-content/uploads I can see the image there but in many resolutions. For example, I can see the image xyz.jpg in the following resolution: 150×150, 250×172, 128×86, 145×151, 167×131, 250×200, etc..there are 20 instance of the same image with different resolutions. I’ve red earlier posts on similar topic but didn’t manage to find appropriate solution. In the media setting I have the following:
Thumbnail size:150×150
Medium size:300×300
Large size:1024×1024
Tried to set medium and large sizes to 0, but it didn’t help.

Hi,
I have created a web with the Nimbus Simple theme and everuthing’s all right except 2 problems:

1. I want a video on the front page only way I found to do it is creating a home page and with a plugging embeding my vieo. Great but this way the video will not autoscale with the banner on the diferent screens ( laptop, ipad, phone etc) so it looks bad.

I don’t know about CSS but to create my web I have been follwing some tips from the forums and changing some CSS I was wandering if it is posible to make the banner beacome a video instead of an image to solve my problem…
Or any othe ideas…
