After the recent events and the message you have posted on Patreon, I would like to inquire if, in addition to the donations that the community can make, it would be possible to take more actions to maintain the service for all parties.

From a technical standpoint, could reducing the number of servers from 3 to 2 help you? I understand that you may have already considered these options, but I was just wondering if, even though optimization might be slower or limited, it could still be maintained by reducing server costs. Just as an example.

Are there other service providers who might offer you better prices, and could a migration be feasible?

I know that ultimately the responsibility rests with you, but I wanted to try to help beyond the current situation and collectively explore, if possible, the various options that could be developed to continue maintaining the plugin as it has been until now.

I’m having an issue when trying to optimize the pictures using “Resmush it”, even tho i’ve more than 5000 image, but in the plugin page, it shows only 677 image ready to be optimized!

P.S: i’ve tried to delete “resmush it” data in mysql:
DELETE FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key IN (‘resmushed_quality’, ‘resmushed_cumulated_original_sizes’, ‘resmushed_cumulated_optimized_sizes’);

After installation everything seemed to work great, and most of the images were optimized on the first run. After a while I visited the panel and seen the message saying “There is currently 11 non optimized pictures.” (Nothing was uploaded in the meantime, this is a staging site).

But for exactly two weeks now reSmush.it seems to have lost connection with the server, because after the progress bar finishes running there is always the same message:

“An error occurred when contacting webservice. Please try again later.”

I understood that some weeks ago you had a server-side problem, but you wrote it is fixed now.
Any ideas?

The process starts, the bar loads across the page, but after a couple of hours crashes on 16%. Why would it do that?

I have tried it several times and it never finishes optimisation.

I am trying to run the resmush.it plugin on the website https://www.boomcymru.co.uk and I am having problems getting it to start. When I click optimise the it starts up and says “1050 attachment(s) found, starting optimization…”. I then see the spinning clock and it stays like this. I have tried leaving it for a couple of hours as there are a lot of images but it doesn’t make any more progress.

I have checked in Chrome Console for the plugin page and I do see the following errors:

Is the best way to optimize image with Resmush.it first then the webp image will compress the compressed image?

Or webpimage will recreate new webp image when picture are compressed with resmush.it?
