Reset Password Link Authorisation Error

My users have run into a problem with the reset password process on my site. When they request a password reset because they have forgotten their password they are successfully sent an email that contains the reset link. However, after clicking this link they are taken to the login page that displays the message “You’re unauthorised to view this page. Why don’t you Login and try again”. This cycle then repeats when trying again. See bottom for screenshots.

I have identified that the culprit is the WP Mail SMTP plugin (the process successfully works when the plugin is deactivated).

Please assist as soon as possible. I currently have no alternative for my users.

Reset Password Form (sent to user’s email) not working.

When a user clicks, “Forgot password” and enters their email address, a link is sent to the email address. The link takes the user to a “Reset Password” page where they can enter and confirm a new password. After clicking the button to reset the password, the too many redirects error page comes up…

The new password does not save successfully.

What can I do to fix this?

Hello,

When a user is trying to create a profile on our website or has requested to reset their password, they are not receiving the email from wordpress to do so. I believe the email is coming from [email protected]; which go.aruzegaming.com is our current website URL. However, I wanted to see if there is a way to change the email address to our company email address so the email doesn’t get blocked from the requested users inbox? I believe right now the emails are going into their spam/junk folder and if it is not in there, the email itself is being blocked from their entire email system.

When I created my username password to be able to write in this forum, the email from www.remarpro.com went into my clutter folder in outlook. So I assume this is the issue with other users, it isn’t going into their inbox.

Can someone please assist?

Would it be possible to send or generate ‘a reset password link’ automatically to a user that has registered directly in the checkout pagein the welcome mail?

I am a new admin for a company that previously had a different 3rd party managing there www.remarpro.com website. All the login information they have doesn’t work, the previous website person doesn’t seem to have access to it either. When you try to do the reset password the captcha doesn’t show up – https://www.tchdc.net/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

How can we go about getting them access to their site?

I only amend my site once per year and now is that time. But I cant remember my password – I have tried the lost password link and the email comes through to with the link. I use it and type in a new password. Then as soon as I start typing in the Confirm Password box, the characters disappear from the New Password Box. And, no characters appear in the Confirm password box except the first one.
