My client is wanting to be able to reply directly to the individual who submitted through their form but the from email is currently the set admin email for the website. I know this can be done, but am having trouble knowing exactly what needs to be changed/added to make this happen. Please advise. Thank you!
]]>but when I click reply to a form submission, it’s replying to my email (the admin email). How do I fix this? It was working fine until this last submission when I noticed I sent the reply to myself instead of the potential client.
Thanks!

This might be very useful for some setups.
Cheers!
]]>since I’ve been unable to receive both WP emails and emails from my contact form, I startet using WP Mail SMTP for authentication.
It works perfectly with the WP emails, however with my contact form (which uses wp_mail) I noticed the plugin seems to override the headers:
The email address entered by the user will be replaced with the email address defined in the plugin (“From: “). So essentially I can not get back to them.
Is this the intended behavior?
Thanks and cheers
]]>I need to set a custom reply-to address. I cannot use the from address as reply-to address. I understand searching here in this support forum and also elsewhere, a small snippet of code in the functions.php can accomplish this. For my sake and that of others who will land up here for this very reason, can you please post it here. I couldn’t find the exact snippet in this support forum posted anywhere.
Thanks!

]]>I have switched domain names of an existing site (graphicsio.com)
I had set up everything with a email address,
after the domain switch,
I typed my new email everywhere where just I could (WP/My profile, WP Forms and WP SMTP),
still when I try out my contact forms I see the old email address as the “answer address, ?reply to address” in my Gmail.
Any idea where should I change this email to the new address?

]]>How do I configure a form so that the email address input in the Email field by the person who submits a form is the “From” email address in the email sent to the administrator.
What I want to do is, when I click on “Reply” in the email that was submitted by a person using the contact form on our site, that the “To” field is automatically populated with the email address this person provided in the “Email” field in the form.
Is this possible? If it is, could you please explain how to do it?
Thank you for your time and have a good day!
