Thank you
]]>Great plugin. We just recently switch our entire site to SSL and https. We have updated all the links accross the site but your plugin is resisting our best efforts.
The page url that gets tweeted won’t change from https:// to https://
Any ideas why?
We have used regex and normal find and replace, plus the GUID but no luck.
We have about 100 quotes across the site. How can we update all the links??
Thanks

]]>I even used Velvet Replace URL plugin to set my URLs right. However, my homepage does not display now. However, all other posts and pages opened up with the new URLs.
Any idea what the problem may be?
]]>I have tried the search feature at the top. it finds the image. I then try to replace the image with the new one. I see this:
Searching post content …
… in table posts, Field: post_content: || – 2 entries found.
So, it finds the image, but I don’t see any indication the the replacing of the url with the new one has taken place. There is nothing on the plugin screen that says “it worked”, and the image path is NOT updated on my site.
One thing I was thinking was that in my posts, where the images are that I am trying to replace, each image has a medium, large and full size option. I use the large size in my posts, when the user clicks on the image they are shown the full size image. So, if I replace an image with this plugin, it probably won’t create medium and large versions of image at the same time for display in the post, right? I still see a blank frame where the image was in my posts… title, caption, and alt text are still there but no image. Hopefully that makes sense. Will this plugin even work for me? How is everyone else replacing their images? Are they being replaced in a gallery or in a post, like mine?

]]>Is there a plugin that will replace URLs in a case like this?
Example: We have a website with lots of products: apples, bananas, carrots.
All our live product pages are currently located at the following URLs:
www.example.com/products/apples
www.example.com/products/bananas
www.example.com/products/carrots
When we are building the new pages, they have the same names and titles as the old pages. So if we built out the new structure and made it go live, all our new URLs would look something like this:
www.example.com/products/apples-somethingdifferent
www.example.com/products/bananas-somethingdifferent
www.example.com/products/carrots-somethingdifferent
But we don’t want to have URLs like that, for a variety of reasons. We want to launch the new pages simultaneously with the old URL structure.
Right now, for the sake of being able to build all pages with functional links, we are setting the new pages to this:
www.example.com/apples
www.example.com/bananas
www.example.com/carrots
But we still want to be able, again, to launch all those pages simultaneously with the /products/apples etc. structure.
We have over a hundred pages like this, and some have different parent pages, so in addition to /products/ we might have /fruit/, /growers/, etc.
I hope this wasn’t confusing (bet it was), and I really hope y’all have some ideas for us.
Thanks in advance!
