Hi folks!

I have installed WooCommerce. After creating any product-category, when I visit the product-category page, the page shows a block for image slider at top. For reference pls see https://canteenstories.com/product-category/desi-tees/
I want to remove the block from product category. What changes I need to make to fix this. Pls help!

According to the Level9themes site you can have separate images on the home page with the MK Lite theme instead of a slider but I can’t work out how to change it. Anybody know?

Where exactly in the templates is the slider for the front page on D5 business line? I want to replace it with some of my own code but need to get rid of it first. Please don’t reply with “hide it in the stylesheets” or “disable it in the theme options”. I want to know how to do this in the php template structure as I consider that the best way to do things.

Removing connection with featured images and slider

Hi I’m using the forever theme on my site:

I’m not currently using the slider functionality that comes with the theme but do want to use the featured images for a different purpose. As of right now, any featured images are treated as though they will go into the slider and do not display full posts on the home page (as outlined by the theme description).

Is there a way that I can disable this connection so that I can assign a featured image to the posts AND have full posts on the home page? I don’t want the posts to be truncated and assigned to the slider.

Hello everyone,

I am admittedly very new to WordPress and any sort of coding. My business was in dire need of a new website so my coworker and I have worked together and created one. It’s nothing fancy but overall we’re happy with what we’ve got so far and are excited to work out little bugs and tweak it.

One of the main things I would like to change is the placement of the slider. I would like to remove it from all pages except for the front page / posts page. I feel like it’s too clunky to have on every single page that loads. Eventually I’ll find a smaller / sleeker slider but for now I’d just like to have it on the front page only.

I’ve looked this up and tried some of the suggestions others have, but I think they were looking to do something slightly different than me.

Here is our website. I’d gladly provide any other information that may aid in someone helping me out.
