I’ve been trying to disable the word “remove comments are off for the post” & also the “Publish by [user] in category”

Can somebody help me with removing this please? I would like just the date to remain

Hi,

I have a WordPress site for testing purpose. I will put many comments on the HTML, CSS and PHP codes, but don’t want these comments to be seen by others(due to privacy reasons). Is there a plugin to remove these comments?

I know many cache plugins, such as WP Fastest Cache, will also have the functionalities to remove the comments. However, because I need to test codes on the site, it is rather inconvenient to disable cache, make the test and then reenable cache. I just do not want a cache plugin, only want to remove comments.

I like to print only the content and not the comments of the page. I am not sure how to use the shortcodes for this or settings page.

Hi, thanks for the great plugin. Work like a charm!

However I noticed it takes the entire page height to calculate the progress instead of the actual content.

Is there a way to exclude the comments, related posts etc. from being accounted for the reading progress?

How can i fix the following please?

1. On product page H1 title shows as “Artists Blog” which is also the name of my “post page”

2. When displaying product category or tag page ALL comments made on my website are displayed below item(s) how to remove?

3. How to move the price + add to cart + SKU + tags down vertically, so inline with same baseline as product thumbnails?

Ps not going to lie, i did try storefront theme and the issues were not present, so is my theme a bust? can i do anything…

Remove “comments off”, Oxygen theme

Hi, I would like to get support about “comments off” of oxygen theme.

Now using Oxygen theme and trying to remove comments function from all posts and pages.
Fortunately, I could turn off comments function by “discussion” category at dashboard.
But after turning off “Allow people to post comments on new articles,” I can see “comments off on ○○○” on post pages.

I tried ‘Remove “Comments are closed”‘ plugin, but it doesn’t work for the word, “comments off.”
And also tried this:

I am not familiar with code so much.

I have been looking for a SUPER SIMPLE template – I just need one page with very basic info and a couple of images, with fewer than 4 child pages. They need very little functionality. But it’s not a blog, I don’t need the damned comments and other junk that seems to appear by default on every WP page. I’ve tried turning off the comments in the individual pages and modifying the screen view but nothing gets rid of it.

If you need to hide the comments, rather than run another plugin do two things

1) Go to Settings> Discussion and check the box: Comment must be manually approved
and uncheck Comment author must have a previously approved comment
also check the box for Users must be registered and logged in to comment

2) add this CSS to your theme’s CSS file, or better yet, go to Appearance > Edit CSS and copy & paste this there:

.comments-link{display:none !important;}

That will then hide the “leave a comment” link on your website.

I want to remove this line
