Hello,
I was using this plugin in my two sites after some malicious files found in my sites, then I restored a backup, and now the User Sync does not work. I reinstalled the plugin in both sites still give the same error ” Error contacting the remote site: 503 – Service Unavailable “

Could you please let me know how to solve this issue?

Javascript not working within iframe of remote site

I am testing out the Advanced Iframe plug-in and it works great. However once the remote page loads elements related to javascript are not working.

For example the pull-down titled ‘Search or Select’. Or if you click on the ‘Request an Estimate’ and click the ‘Send’ button at the bottom nothing happens.

It looks like the iframe plugin is continuously running some JS. I don’t know for sure, but that may be blocking the other JS from running. There aren’t any errors in the console.

Any help would be appreciated. Would love to promote this plug-in to our clients.

Managing WordPress remote site with Dreamweaver CS6.

I am looking for a HowTo that will step by step explain how to set up Dreamweaver CS6 to manage a remote site. I need to be able to use Dreamweaver to adjust the look and feel of the website of a local NGO. I have used WordPress for a while, but I am a complete novice with using Dreamweaver.

Using MAMP Pro develop WP: having permalink issue

In previous recent adventure (thread) I discovered how to use MAMP Pro to work on my WordPress installation. I got the localhost site edited to a point where I thought I’d like to see how many headaches I would have after uploading my site to my remote server.

I created a database to match the username and password of the one I have on my localhost. I managed to connect the WordPress installation on the remote server to see the new database (and yes, I exported the mysql from localhost and imported to the remote successfully). Or so I thought.

I edited the WordPress>settings>permalinks on purpose before I uploaded everything because I figured I need to know how to address this from the beginning so there is no time like now to learn to fix this issue.

I now see a problem. My remote site’s home page shows an unstyled page so the page at https://mydomain.com/ does not see my stylesheet. Nor does the nav bar see any of the pages. Looks like every link wants to reference https://mydoman/something Which is how it looks when I edit on my server.

I need to not only know how to fix this but what is the workflow for working with the localhost and then uploading to a remote server so I don’t keep messing up my links?

I cannot believe that I can only develop the site locally to a point and then have to forever only work on the remote after uploading. Thought I would be able to develop localhost sites continually and upload changes to the remote server as needed. Thanks.

Dreamweaver Cs5

Having problems getting dreamweaver cs5 to work with wordpress
I copied my site from remote host to local following this tutorial

I can see local copy of my site but when i try to view remote sit i get the following error messages

Hi,

I’m new to blogging, and am helping my brother build a remotely-hosted site with its own (non-WP-templated) design and a blog page using WP (and, as necessary, WP design template).

A very basic question: Are remote users able to do everything and participate as closely with the WP.com community as people with sites there? To do so, would we also need to build anything on wordpress.com?

wp-forum & xp-forum not geting deleated from remote ftp site.

Since i was in look out for a forum software plugin, i insalled wp-forum plugin on my blog www.medinmark.com/blog/. When i was unable to run this forum, i tried to delete it from the remote site. Though i didn’t find the mention of this plugin in the plugin admin section, but wp-forum still stayed on my remote site listing in filezilla.

Then, i tried reinstalling another forum software xp-forum. But when it got installed, the plugin admin section has now stopped showing any list.

Now, when i am deleting xp-forum from ftp client also, it is not getting vanished. I can still find it there.

Someone kindly suggest me, what should i do to rectify this problem.
