I’ve been using this for a while now. Just one post a day to re-post one of the previous stories to help keep things fresh. Everything has been fine until suddenly today: “SUSPENDED This App has violated Twitter Rules and policies.”.

How? Nothing bad (ie, offensive, or anything else negative) has ever been posted. The last post was about a consumer robot and everything is capable of.

Is this part of a new policy of theirs to try to force people to pay into something?

Update…I see why. I have three apps using the API and you can only have one now. They want you to pay $100/mo if you want more than one app. The other is the normal auto-post of new WP posts. The third will be deleted as I don’t need it that bad. Guess I can’t use this one either. Sucks. Twitter is on some powerful hallucinogens and really looking to chase away its community.

Unless I can use the same app/API for both plugins?

Several months later, the (now) Subscriber repurchased a membership but S2Member didn’t reinstate him.

Is this possibly because he wasn’t logged into the site before purchasing his membership? Or is there another possible reason or setting on S2Member that I should be checking?

BUT now when I re-install BWPS, it’s not a clean install as there must be some residual code left in from before, then main problem seems to be the change of my user ID from #1 to #2 – and now I can’t access any pages etc in my admin, or see any private pages (ones I’m developing for a new site), only public ones.

I’ve tried changing the ID back to #1 in my php admin (thought didn’t select the MD5 option as don’t really understand this), but that shut me out of everything!

Please can anyone tell me how to safely change back to udes id #1 – or how to undo what the BWPS did for this???

I am the author of the Shortcoder WordPress plugin. I hosted the plugin in the WordPress repository for 2 years.

Recently, I got an email from the WP team that my plugin has some holes to XSS attacks. So it was disabled from the WP repository.

I was asked to fix that bug and intimate it to the WP team. Now I fixed that bug, there is nothing vulnerable and it is secure.

I uploaded the new version to the repository and then emailed to plugins AT www.remarpro.com stating to bring back my plugin to normal.

Since now, I didn’t get a reply from them. It is taking too long.
Is there a way to manually bring the plugin back to normal ???

So i backed up the DB throught phpMyAdmin and then deleted the db entierly. I also deleted the worpress files on my server.

Next i created a new DB. I impotrted the old DB backup file.

I uploaded the new WP files.

Next I ran the upgrade php file in the admin and i got the following:

WordPress database error: [Table ‘irishmar_wpdb.wp_options’ doesn’t exist]
SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘db_version’

WordPress database error: [Table ‘irishmar_wpdb.wp_linkcategories’ doesn’t exist]
SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM wp_linkcategories

then it says done but it shows none of my posts or anything. One thing i noticed was that ther error message is looking for wp_catagories, wp_comments and so on where as the actual files on the server in phpMyAdmin as wpi4f_catagories, wpi4f_comments and so on…

How can i get this all working again?
