I need to reduce the size of the header, the white marbled area. I haven’t been able to find out how to do this within the theme options. I can only find the reduce logo size option but not the header.

Is there any additional css I could use?

Reducing dimensions of contact form fields

Hi,

The contact form does not look good because:
1. the horizontal length of ‘Your Email (required)’ field is too long;
2. the size of ‘message’ editor is too big.

How can I change their sizes?

I have 2 questions, and I hope I can get help with them ^_^

Is it possible to remove the blue bar at the top completely? I know how to change the color but would like to shrink or remove. Also, is it possible to reduce the height of the black menu bar? I am finding the height of that black bar to be much too high.

How to reduce images size

Hi guys,
I’m changing host and one of the things I’m noticing during the process is that images are unbelievably heavy, like 200-300 kb each.
A friend of mine pointed out that they should be less than 50 kb.

How can I do that?

I use WP Smush (the free version) but it doesn’t reduce size so much.
I also tried softwares like Caesium and a bunch of online services but no one seems to garantee the compression I’m looking for.

I know part of the problem is that featured images are 1280×720 pixel but I can’t change that.

Any suggestions?

I want to reduce the size of the box that surrounds an image in my posts. I have used the current CSS to reduce the font size and remove the grey background of the box:

#custom .wp-caption {box-shadow: none;background-color: transparent;}
#custom .wp-caption .wp-caption-text {padding: 10px;font-size: 11px;line-height: 15px;}
#custom .wp-caption .wp-caption-text:before {content: ”;}

However the space between the caption and the body content is pretty big. Do you know how to reduce it?

Changing Size of Catalog Photos?

I am using the theme Mystile, I removed the left side bar and attempted to increase the width of the shop paged however could not solve the problem. I ended up going to sleep waking up the next day and finding out that the size of the category pics was too big, it is only giving me columns of 1 and 2 on my shop and home pages. I changed the code to }

Reduce size of sticky header?
