Hi, I was able to reduce the featured image size by editing the Site Template for the Front page in the beta editor. I changed both the block height/width to 50%, which looks great on desktop. However, it also reduces the image size on mobile view and it’s too small. Is there a better way to make the featured image smaller without impacting the mobile view so drastically?

Using WP 6.0 with Twenty Twenty Two theme.

Blog Section Customization

I want to significantly reduce the size of the images on the blog section and I’d like to show just 3 posts.

Right now with the default settings the 3rd image moves down below the other two images. I would like to have all 3 images on one row with some space in between with the text over each image towards the lower part of the image.

When I tried to this by adding custom css the images would change size but then the rest of the text on the other sections moved and I could not successfully align the text beneath each image correctly.

Q1: I like the layout of “Blog – Medium Image” but the image size is too big.
How can I reduce the size image?
Is there any way I can edit the CSS to change the pixel size?

Q2: As you can see using “Blog – Medium Image” there is a preview of the post but I feel it cuts too short resulting in white space.

Is there any way I can extend the number of characters in the preview of the post?

I love,love,love this theme! I tried about 20 before Virtue and nothing ever worked. Virtue has been so easy and I’ve never done this before. Thank You!

I added a transparent png logo to header and my background header image disappeared. It was working prior to this. How can I fix this? I’m hoping I can use the transparent logo.

Also, I’d like my product category images on my shop page and my product images and info to be much smaller. How do I go about doing this.

Site is SO SLOW

Please help – my site (swimquest.uk.com) is due to be made public very shortly and it is extremely slow. I have tried installing W3 Cache but despite turning all the options on and off it doesn’t make a difference. Have also reduced size of all images to 800x600px. Can anyone suggest anything else I can do to speed up the site?
I have also spoken to my host (names.co.uk) who assure me there is nothing they can do from their side.
I am at a complete loss!

Any advice appreciated

Image are not scaled down before served to home page. they are just resized.
Due to this the size on my home page has increased to 3.4MB-4MB.
In featured categories also the images are not scaled down.
in media setting my thumbnail width is 200px x 200px
and medium image width is 600px x 600px

Hello

I have created my blog recently for my images, I am in some trouble & want some solution, I hope there will be some solution

I have my images in 800×600 or bigger, I hosted them on photobucket. When I pasted my photobucket image link on my blog, this size disturb my blog layout, as I need to scroll to much to rightward & downward etc.

I want solution that, image on my blog should be in fixed (defined) width & height, regardless, what is actually resolution, & if someone want to view full image, click on that & actual image should display, whether on same window or in new window. (Please remind, this is not photo gallery blog, this is an article blog with images, related to articles).

Please help me.
