when creating a new recurring event is it possible to add the date to single event titles?
i.e. Recurring Event Title. “Recurring Event” – Event Title in date Jan, 20 – 2024. “Recurring Event – Jan, 20 – 2024” – Event Title in date Jan, 24 – 2024. “Recurring Event – Jan, 24 – 2024”
Thanks,
Francesco
]]>Sorry if you’ve covered this before, but i can’t seem to find it in the documentation or in previous support threads. I have a calendar for my wordpress site as we’re a local food shop that also hosts events from time to time. We have so-called ‘order weeks’ every once every two weeks. I added those as recurring events. However, we also do other things, like movie screenings, assemblies etc. etc. When those are added though, they kind of dissappear in a multitude of the same recurring event. That’s why I’m wondering if there’s a way to hide all instances but the first of a recurring event in the grid view?
Thank you!
Jakob

How can I proceed?
]]>since the latest update of free Calendar-version (6.5) repeated events (series) are not displayed. I was able to create recurring events, but when I click on the corresponding link in the monthly or weekly view, I get the error message “Page not found” every time. I therefore had to create the event again for each recurring date. Until now I wasn’t able to find another solution.

]]>I have created a CPT called ‘Live Online’ (slug: ‘live_online’) and I would like to create a listing of events that are happening within the next month, in date order (soonest first). Some events will be recurring and others will be one-off.
I have installed this plugin which gives me all the fields I but I need some help setting up a query for a listing grid.
I am using ACF, Elementor Pro and Dynamic.ooo. If there’s a way to set up a query using the Dynamic.ooo listing widget that would be ideal.
I would also appreciate any pointers on how I can pull the field data into the loop template I have built in the Elementor Theme Builder.
I appreciate that this may extend beyond your level of support but any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
]]>Each course consists of 4 weekly sessions.
EventPrime works fine if I only create a single instance of the event – with no recurrences and create a booking and ticket for that first instance (and say in the description “this is a 4 week course”).
BUT I want to show all 4 dates for each course on the calendar (week 1, week 2, week 3 and week 4).
The only way I can find that makes this possible is the “Repeat” tab that allows me to create multiple recurrences.
It works GREAT except no matter what I do, the plugin always assigns a ticket to each recurrence.
So let’s say I want to charge $10 for the course. I create the first instance, then create 3 weekly recurrences – which makes 3 copies of the event. So far so good.
Then I create a booking & ticket for JUST the first event. I check the box to only apply what I’m doing to the first instance. And every time, the plugin creates 4 tickets: 1 for each instance.
I also tried doing this in reverse. Creating 1 event and a ticket for JUST that instance. THEN creating the recurrences and it creates separate tickets for each instance.
I also tried editing the 3 copies (recurrent instances) and deleted the tickets from just those events. The result is the initial event shows as having tickets available and the 3 recurrent events are “sold out”.
Super frustrating. Is there not a way to create recurrences and only apply the ticket to the first instance? This seems like a pretty basic feature.
Am I doing something wrong here?
Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!
]]>I have a client that needed their event calendar from a church management software (Breeze) synced with the online calendar. I’ve managed to get the events synced using the generated ical address, but the only issue is that recurring events are being added as single events, which results in over 500 events being imported. I’d like to be able to group these occurrences to decrease the amount of posts, as well as avoid having duplicate permalinks (event-name, event-name-1, event-2, etc.).
Is there a specific structure that the ical feed needs to abide by in order for EO to read it correctly for recurring events?
