I have a snippet you provided to check that WPCharitable doesn’t load stripe twice (as WooCommerce loads it too). Is there a similar code to check that reCaptcha isn’t already loaded so it doesn’t try to load twice?

How to allow reCaptcha cookies automatically

I use a reCaptcha on my contact us page but if someone tries to use it without first accepting cookies then the recaptcha doesn’t load and the form is not submitted – worst of all no errors show. Are there cookies I should be allowing as necessary so that the reCaptcha will show even without cookies being accepted, or is this contrary to GDPR rules? If it is, how does anyone get around it?

The cookies I’ve tried allowing as necessary are: _GRECAPTCHA, rc::a, rc::b, rc::c and rc::f, but this still doesn’t work.

I have added this reCAPTCHA on WooCommerce checkout page and customer unable to process order.

Here is the WooCommerce log error.

reCAPTCHA v3 Periodically Stops Working

For reasons I’m trying to resolve, it seems like reCAPTCHA v3 on my form just periodically stops working. It presents with the spinning ‘wait’ circle on form submission – and it just sits there forever – no error messages or anything. In these instances Flamingo doesn’t even register a form submission. If I clear the site cache and CTRL+F5 the contact form page it seems to start working again. I’m not sure why that would be? I assume there are some reCAPTCHA cookies being set / tracked – should I be expiring those? What are they? Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I”m noticing a lot more spam coming through on the contact form even though I have Recaptcha setup.

Could you advise what else I can do to ELIMINATE/reduce these spammy emails through the contact form in WP Forms?

They seem to be getting worse?

I have had to start using this to stop the spam through the form

Plugin Does Not Work

I have V3 selected. The keys are correct. But this message is what I get every time: “Google reCAPTCHA verification failed.” I have deactivated all other plugins, etc… this plugin just simply doesn’t work. Even when I selected V2, and I checked the box and selected the pictures, it fails.

Recpatcha doesn’t appear to be working with Buddypress logins. I am still getting dozens of spam signups daily. Is it supported? If not is there any good plugin that works or some other way to prevent these never-ending spam bots from registering?

I’m pretty sure in the recent version of the plugin / wordpress / recaptcha if you activate recaptcha v3 it pervents all forms from being sent. A customer of mine called and said all the forms are not worlking anymore. Checked site. Message when trying to send any form: message could not be sent. contact admin. Removed ReCaptcha. Working again. Reactivated Recaptcha. New error: please fill out all required fields. URL upon request. WordPress 5.4.2 DE, wpcf7 5.2
