I have had some problems with classes not being recognized, but that seems to be solved by the cache cleaning button in the tailpress settings. This is also where you can edit the tailwind config, i found out, which was a bit confusing having to write json instead of js, and the invalid json just being erased on saving without any explanation.
Would be nice to be told more explicitely that this is where the config is located, how to write it in json, maybe some example(s) of what/how you can write, and an informative error message of sorts when not writing valid json, instead of just having it erased. But i figured it out, and i’m very happy with the plugin.
]]>In the footer (lower right) i have a “click for map” link below the address which works (goes to google map) but i am not getting the CSS to recognize how i want it formatted.. not recognizing color changes and size adjustments. It is using the blue color for the blog title links rather than white that i’d like to use to show contrast.
Thank you.
Best Regards

]]>I’m unable to get Facebook to recognize my site – https://evilburritoband.com. For example:
– The FB “Like” button at the bottom of the page has 7,000 likes (my page is a few days old and we’re not that popular) and seems to be pointing at a different URL once the FB app is launched
– In Facebook, when I try to share the site as a link (i.e. type “https://evilburritoband.com” into the Update Status box) a different, and non-working, URL (sites.securenet.net) populates the link box
I also have an issue where our site’s link is on our own Facebook page, but when you click the link you first get a notice that the site is ‘abusive’. I took steps to check into this, however it seems that this evaluation is not on my URL (evilburritoband.com) but on the sites.securenet.net URL; I confirmed this first with Trend Micro, which had not yet even scanned my site, and then with Avast which listed the ‘infected’ site as the sites.securenet.net URL.
I have the Facebook Open Graph plugin installed and configured, and I’ve gone through what I could of the meta information in SEO but can’t figure out what’s missing, if anything. I also checked the database in my hosting site and everything seems to be fine there.
I have a feeling there is a setting somewhere that can easily resolve this, but I’ve run out of options for solving this myself. Any help is appreciated!
]]>Yesterday I created a website for a client, everything went great – she was able to login with the user information I provided her. Until today, I tried to login to the site to add some pictures.
The site is www.hirnuvahammas.fi
When I try to login via wp-login.php, it just comes up an “Error: Wrong username!” and the username is admin. I tried to recover the password to admin’s (my) e-mail, via username or e-mail, but both times I get errors again:
– Username or e-mail is invalid
– No registered users for this e-mail
(Translations might be different, because the WP version I run is in finnish, but hopefully you get the point)
So what can I do to login to the site again, it is very urgent – thank you.
]]>As far as I can tell, the PHP code is doing this to find out whether it is running on a multisite install:
if (file_exists(ABSPATH.”/wpmu-settings.php”)) {
…multisite code…
}
I have read somewhere that wpmu-settings.php is deprecated and I guess that is probably the reason why the above code does not work anymore.
Can someone tell me what code should be used instead? Is there a is_multisite() function or something like that? If not, why not?
Thanks a lot
]]>However, there seems to be a lot of spam that is submitted as comments. I have two plug ins installed against spam – Akismet and just recently, BadBehaviour (so I’m not really sure how well it works yet).
My question is however about the smarter spammers who use generic comments such as “Great Post!”. I’ve thought about it and one thing I think would work and would make it much easier for me is that if I removed all links and just posted the comment “as is”, just the text and the name of the poster. Is that possible? I can’t seem to find such an option.
