I have went over the instructions over and over and don’t see why it is not working. Any suggestions?
Thank you
]]>we have a problem with the form because a lot of spam arrives, the google recaptcha V3 seems not to work and the currently installed Google Recaptcha perhaps does not block enough because automatic messages seem to continue to arrive. We would like to insert a type of recaptcha with tests to run (e.g. traffic light selection etc) or help us understand which method is safer and protects the form better. The contacts that arrived on the site were 188 all spam!
Thanks
]]>Also, for the version of recaptcha we’re using, you don’t need a ‘secret key’, should we just leave that blank?
]]>We have a website with a ‘Contact Us’ page that uses the Forminator plugin, however recently we have found that the recaptcha has disappeared from the page and subsequently the forms cannot be submitted, receiving the error message ‘Invalid CAPTHCA’.
After trouble shooting the issue I have found that there seems to be a conflict with the Yoast SEO plugin, as when this is deactivated the recaptcha is back on the ‘Contact Us’ page and the forms are submitted successfully.
WordPress v6.6.2
PHP v8.1.22
Forminator v1.35.1
Yoast SEO v23.5
Any assistance in resolving this would be appreciated.
]]>Can anyone tell me why recaptcha is showing, and how to get rid of it completely??? Or as a last resort how to make the recaptcha actually work? I can’t figure out why it’s showing, or which plugin might be using it.
I’m reasonably tech savvy, but a novice at wordpress, so if you have solutions please make them without wp lingo. Thanks for your help
]]>“If any valid users get a low score from Google reCAPTCHA and are blocked while logging in, they will see a message saying “Additional verification is required for login”, and asking them to check their email. They should receive an email with a link that will allow them to log in.”
That is, I didn’t know until a user having login issues sent me a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/HFEffa2.png
That account didn’t receive the email, however (not to Spam, either). Thinking that it was a fluke, I tested with another account until I got to the above screen, but again no email.
To be clear, these same accounts get a lot of Wordfence alert emails (logins, lockouts, etc), so this was quite surprising.
WordPress 6.6.2
Wordfence Version 7.11.7
]]>Would be nice if it was updated to use v3 too.
