I have been a loyal supporter of Rover IDX as they are a class act when it comes to IDX! Everytime I have needed support or questions they have been able to get me answers or solutions to that i’m trying to do. I also like the features on the backend and they do have more than I use currently as well they keep doing great updates. Great IDX solution. Thank you!

It does indeed integrate with wordpress, however there are several “imperfections”

1. You can integrate ALL info, which completely overwrites any SEO efforts on a listing
2. All images will come in with the same title. Any local changes will be overwritten
3. “De-Unselecting” option to overwrite all results in ALL properties changing to SOLD status.

Integration should be based on property ID information with the option to select which information is updated upon synchronization.

Unless you are listing and turning many properties a week, this entire process is probably best to do manually

The engine powering the best real estate websites. Our agency has built dozens of realtor websites over the past few years with another IDX platform. We kept hearing agents coming back from a few coaching workshops talk about Showcase IDX. Tried them and set up our first site in a fraction of the time. The way they bring in property information makes them the only organic IDX and will be great for google rankings. We’ll be moving over all of our clients to them as quickly as possible.

Hey guys,
I’m almost done my site. It started out as a blog site but I’ve decided to transition it into my real estate site. So I used the WPL plugin to add a home listings page BUT I want the home search feature to also appear in the body of my home page. From what I’ve read, I’ll need to do a bit of coding for it to appear with my theme. I used the “Neville” theme and I’m not too familiar with coding. Any suggestions, tips or help?

Amazing – on EVERY level

How in the world could I possibly be the first person to review this amazing plugin? As a real estate broker who wants to be able to reach out to as many potential clients to offer my services for consideration – and as a geek – I am always looking for new and better ways to reach out to folks. This plugin does exactly what it claims and allows visitors to my site to quickly and easily get a down and dirty estimate of value. Is it right on the money? Not likely, but then, neither is Zillows Zestimate or other tools. However, it at least starts the conversation and puts the info right out there for the visitors to my site. Integration is ridiculously easy. I did have an issue with my site. Apparently the theme I use was reacting to the presence of the plugin by making the body of my content transparent – which is not good – but also not an issue with the plugin itself. Despite this fact, the support folks for this plug in bent over backwards to get things going. I don’t want to over promise on their behalf, but even if they end up only giving you 50% of the amazing support they gave me, you are going to still end up with about 99% more than you have gotten with ANY other plugin.

wrong mapping and listing data manipulation represents a liability issue

This plugin relies on Diverse Solutions (transitioned from Zillow Group to new owner Market Leader https://www.csisoftware.com/our-companies/private-sector/perseus-operating-group/) downloading the MLS listing data (RETS) and mapping it into a database from which the listings are embedded on the client sites through this plugin.

The staff in charge of transitioning away from the shared data with zillowpress ( Zillow Agent Websites https://www.zillow.com/agent-websites/ ) manipulated the mapping and database fields in way that this plugin and diverse solutions have gone from one the best IDX solutions in the market back in 2011 to the least reliable one in the market and representing a liability issue for diverse solutions, realtors and Realtor boards when it comes to data integrity .

The people doing the mls mapping limited the number of bathrooms to 9 maximum, please remove any limit on the number of bathrooms.

This site using zillowpress (same way was for this plugin prior to June 8th, 2017) you can see all properties showing the correct number of bathrooms , full and half included:

Another issues with the data mapping include limiting the number of fields on the listing additional details section, it is ridiculous that is limited to only approximately 20 fields only when zillowpress continue to show way more fields of data for only $10 per month on the same type of plugin.

Another big issue is that the mapping people over at Diverse Solutions cut the size of the database fields so not only showing very little data fields , but some of the few fields remaining are cut in half or not shown completely, in the previous example :

So they modified the bathrooms fields limited to 9 baths , not showing full and half anymore
They cut the number of listing fields to more than half in many cases and eliminating many of the relevant ones to consumers.
They cut the size of the database fields so the data shows incomplete and words cut off.

The questions are:
Was this done intentionally or accidentally?
Was this part of a Zillow Group – Market Leader Agreement to degrade the product?

More importantly this represents a liability issue because of data manipulation.

Please address this publicly and fix or assume responsibilities.

Incredible Real Esate Plugin

Real estate websites are not easy to build, but Simply RETS made getting data from local MLS to the website super easy. Their support is incredible. We had some issues with data syncing properly, and they fixed them in no time. If you’re wanting to build a real estate website, this is a great plugin!

I have used Blogdog on my real estate website since version 1.0. It has been a great addition to my blog and SEO. Not to mention the huge social media following I have built. I set up Jetpack Publicize with Blogdog and shared every post to all my social media automatically. This plugin is permanent on my website.

Looking for Realtor Theme

I am looking for a realtor (both home sale and rental) theme for WP and someone who has coding experience to customize it.
What I do not want to do is pay monthly for the theme. (Which seems to be a growing practice)
