I wanted a random order for my carousel, but I noticed something odd. I noticed that for some reason, on mobile phones, the carousel is stuck on the same random order for all of my users (instead of having a different order at every connection).
On a computer, it does re-generate the post order every time I refresh the page, but sometimes it gets stuck on the very same random order for all of my users again.
I expected the post order to be different at every connection on the page. Is there something I’m missing?
Thanks so much for your help with this.

Customer images need to be organized in the following structure:
1. Categories (Albums) containing multiple galleries.
2. Each gallery containing multiple images and/or videos.
3. Each category (Album) page to show the galleries sorted randomly on user load.
4. Each gallery to display image/video in lightbox with description over/on the side of the image.
5. The description in lightbox to be able to contain link(s).
6. The lightbox to contain a slider carousel of all other images/videos in the gallery below the focus image/video.
7. Each category (Album) and gallery to have a thumbnail with its title displayed and mouse hover effect where a short description appears.
8. Ideally, another mouse hover effect will be to display as ‘a slideshow animated gif’ the contents of the category (Album) or gallery when the user moves their cursor above the thumbnail.
Can you please confirm if these features are possible with the Pro version of the Go Gallery?
Thank you very much in advance.
P.S. I tried contacting you on your website but the contact form there gave the following error: “An error has been encountered. Please try again.”
]]>This plugin is so incredibly slick and versatile, it’s amazing. We just installed it for the first time so we’re still exploring what it can do. We’re actually considering upgrading to Pro, but we do have one question.
We currently have a main IG feed at the bottom of our home page. Even though we have the setting checked to show random images, they always show only the same static most recent six images. Is this an option that’s only available in the pro version? If not, any ideas what might be wrong?
Thanks!
Carrie

]]>I have a small problem on my photoblog. Whenever someone searches for something (a keyword) on my photoblog, I would like the results to be shown in a random order.
For example:
– Joe searches “Paris” and gets ten results per page, with post “Paris trip 2008” being the first result,
– Jane searches “Paris” and also gets ten results per page, with post “Paris trip 2008” being the second/third/fourth result.
This would involve ordering the results by RAND, if I understand correctly that big blue mystery named mySQL.
Could anyone lend a hand with this issue?
Thank you very much,
Jans
