Hi there,

I’m using the Pure and Simple theme, and trying to change (what I think is) the header image for different pages. I’ve tried a number of changes, and I still just see the mountain scene on all of my pages, rather than the images I want.

What am I doing wrong?

Page width, website width

Is it possible to set another page width as the 3 options available in “Basic Settings” (i.e. Full Screen, Smaller width 1500px, Smaller width 1200px).

What if I would like to have a 1000px width website? Can I do that through CSS ?

Line under the page title

Hello!

Recently I made a blog using pure&simple theme. I customized it, changed colors but i can’t seem to get rid of a line that’s under every page title.

Looks like this:

I even tried to make some corrections on CSS file but was unsuccessful.
Does anyone have any ideas? I’d be very grateful.

So I have set Pure & Simple as my theme. I like everything about it but I just can’t figure out how to change the main black and white picture of the kid (I think it’s a flower on the preview). Do I need to pay for the pro version to change this picture?

Remove Extra Space

Hi,

I’m trying to remove excess space on my website:

As you can see, my home page is very simple and I don’t plan to put any images or widgets on the home page. Right now, there’s a lot of space between my menu and my footer. Is there a way to remove some of that space? I’m using Jetpack to add custom CSS.

I’ve removed the titles from all pages and posts but, because of that, there is now a large space between the menu and the content. For example, https://yogashalawest.com/ashtanga-yoga/

Is there a way to remove some of that space so that the content starts closer to the menu?

Suggestions on what to add to Jetpack to achieve these two things would be very helpful.

Child Theme and Retina

Hello! I’m running Pure&Simple, and I uploaded your child theme, however I get a prompt that states the parent theme is missing… Any ideas about that?

Also, the theme itself looks good on mobile and retina screens, however the logo does not. It looks fine on standard screens, but on the HD screens its soft. I could probably fudge the logo sizing in the stylesheet somewhere to make it a set size and then upload a larger image that WP would downsize, but if I’m going to do that then I’d like for the child theme to be running first.
