Thank you in advance.
]]>I have a question related to the uListings “Location & Proximity” fields. What are the purposes of them?
You can see on our site: https://rentex.wpopal.com/shop/, we have set up like this: https://prnt.sc/tyacri, but in the frontend, it doesn’t show https://prnt.sc/tyahtn. Could you please take a look at it? There are any mistakes here or not.
Hope to hear from you soon.

]]>Also, the proximity search filters as well as the order by filter are not working. It appears that the Geolocation API is enables but is not working at all.
I wanted to submit a tech support ticket for this issue but I am not sure how to use your support system – seems like it is not working at the moment.
]]>is there a way to make the search work based on proximity? both the sites i’m building have a list of restaurants in different cities, and would be amazing if we could let visitors search based on postcode, to come up with a list of results closest to them.
at the moment, we’re limited to choosing a category (city in this case), but sometimes the cities are quite big, and would normally be split into 2 or 3 parts.
the google maps api will come in handy for this. it can do distance searches (line of sight, or driving distance) if the visitor gives you a postcode in the search box (or a geolocation on mobile devices).
have you considered this as a search option?
]]>I’m new to WP, so not quite sure which pieces of the puzzle I need to put together.
I need to pull together some combination of I think map plugin, list/table plugin, and outside web service integration. Looking for any recommendations on approach, good plugins, which services to use, best approach to config, etc.

Any ideas?
Best,
:)Ben
I’m using the sweet date theme and during the registration I have a bunch of fields. The theme gives me the option to create a search using the profile fields from the registration.
I am trying to create a proximity field based around the users’ address (5, 10, 25 miles, etc). I can’t find any plugins where I can natively create this field with appended info (ie, location), so I figure I need to code it myself. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how to approach it using the geocode from each users address?
Sorry if it’s a bit confusing. Here’s my search form. The distance field is the profile field with the location type. Ideally that input would be a dropdown with proximity options and would return members within a certain radius.
