.
This is fine, but now I have a protected post, and after entering password this captcha shows up. After done it the page redirect to a blank page. One needs to re-enter the URL from the URL bar, then re-enter password again to read it.
Is there a way to fix this? I fail to find where to turn off this feature completely.
]]>I’m trying to change the protected post message, but my changes seem to not be having any effect. I’ve tried clearing the cache after changing the message and still nothing, unfortunately!
I’m guessing because this is because of my theme?
Also, I was wondering if this plugin allows shortcodes? It mentions allowing basic HTML. I’d love to be able to include the shortcode for my mailinglist signup box so people can sign up then and there I realize that may not be possible though.
Thanks for your help!
]]>I added new products to Shopp and for one of them I get
There is no excerpt because this is a protected post.
How/Why is this protected ? I don’t see where to turn it off.
Even going back in to edit the post – it says published – I picked featured.
???ANy ideas ?
Thanks

]]>I immediately deleted the document from the web site. The search engine (Google) still finds the document but when one tries to download it now you get the “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?” message with a list of recent posts and most used categories. And wouldn’t you know it–there is another “protected” post in the “Most used categories” list! I click on it, and that entire document comes up.

]]>Jane tried to enter her name and email directly into the Edit Comment box, which at least changed the reply author’s name, but the admin’s avatar is still showing.
I should note, that the administrator changed the author to “Jane” a few days after the post was published.
Is there a way to correct this? Thanks
]]>I’ve seen the same question here and here, but these post are old and the code solution doesnt work anymore.
I’ve seen 2 simple plugin that use to do that, but there are no longer updated (since 2008)
I just want my excerpt to be display, before : “this post is password protected. to view it please enter your password below”
So i hope there is a code solution that works (i prefer not to use big membership plugin, but maybe it’s the only way ?)
Tanks in advance for help

]]>However, when I look at my blog post listings at https://www.youclaimit.org/blog, the post appears as password protected (it’s the first one). It is not and you can still access it when you click on the title.
I’ve tried changing it to password protected and back to public but no luck. I also tried purging my CDN’s cache.
Any suggestions?
