User Profile: won’t save edits

I was really excited to find this plugin for my clients site, it has all the functionality we need. I purchased the profile tabs and woo commerce extensions. However now I’m having 2 issues. The main issue is that when I input information into my user profiles, they won’t save. Profiles or the other forms. I have excluded the pages from caching but it hasn’t helped. My second issue is that when the Woo extension is activated, the pages don’t appear in the editor. For now that’s a small issue, but I am worried it will grow. Mostly I just need to be able to edit my user profiles.

Directly after loggin in , i want to display two graphics and 1 form in their account (graphics are individual for each member) and one of the form fields is autocomplete with the member id

How to create a sub-navigation menu under profile tabs

I’m trying to figure something out. I have a very long questionnaire for users once they sign up. This will show in their profile under custom tabs (I have all the extensions). It’s about 70 questions so I want to break up the form into 7 unique forms and have the results of each displayed in tabs under the main profile tabs. For instance, the user clicks the profile tab “questionnaire” and 7 tabs appear beneath it that each contain that form’s responses. This way a viewer can easily navigate the different sections without having a long scroll page.

My other option is to find a way to put multiple forms on the same tab, and I see no way to do this as UM has you select one form per custom tab. If I could use shortcode for each form on a page I could just list 7 shortcodes and use anchor links to jump from one section to the next.

Since UM does not allow for a multi-step form this is the best I can think, if I can just figure out how to do it. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

Problems with shortcode in UM Custom Tab Builder

Hello dear community!
I have a big problem. I use
UM Custom Tab Builder. I added a shortcode to a tab (named “Affiliate”). It is designed to display the dashboard of an affiliate program (WordPress & WooCommerce Affiliate Program). This dashboard consists of a menu with 6 menu items. The tab is wonderful to set up. However, if you click on another menu item within the affiliate menu, it threw me out directly and I am returned to the account overview page. Can someone help me with this? Thanks very much

User Edit Capability

Greetings!

I have just purchased the subscription and installed the latest version of Ultimate Member along with some the extensions I need. For one reason or another, users are able to edit any visible field on their profile. My admins and moderators should be able to edit the fields, users however should not be able to do so.

I have made sure to grant the users edit permissions for their profiles.
I have made sure to uncheck the user can edit in the secured fields.

How to create custom Profile Tabs (2021)?

Hi,

I found several posts regarding this issue but all solutions suggest that I should: “Selecting “profile page own tab” will create a new tab, …”

Unfortunately, this option does not exist for me. Do I have to manually activate it, I haven’t seen anything for setting up this option.

Another comment from the same tab suggests Create a new fieldset, make sure it is public and set to Profile page own tab and Profile Side. That also does NOT exists.

So, UsersWP is awesome by any measure. But I’m beating my head on the wall trying to get add a tab or two to the profile page. I used the profile builder, which seems to default to the “Default #1″ form. I figured this form contains the default settings read by the plugin. I added ‘More Info” and ‘Comments’ to the Profile tab. Nothing. They just don’t display under Profile. It still says No Tabs. What am I missing? And, also, what’s the purpose of creating additional forms? How are they used? Are they referenced in the short code? I see that I can reference the for by id and name in the Register Form Shortcode ( [uwp_register id=”1″ title=”Default”]), but not in the Profile shortcode or any other shortcode that I see for that matter.

HELP!!!
