Hi – I am using bbpress with the Disputo theme and am happy with it EXCEPT I really need to be able to have a member listing with search functionality. I need the search to look across all fields of a user profile, most importantly, their location.

Would this plugin do that for me? I don’t really need special new registration pages etc although they might be nice as long as they work OK with the theme I’m using.

I was using Ultimate Member but it was too big and didn’t work for me; it clashed with the Disputo theme and messed it up because it created its own version of the bbpress profiles.

The plugin is not quite compatible with BuddyBoss theme and platform.
I can use it in location form fields but when being used in searching the location of users, it doesn’t work.
Would you mind fixing that?

Hello,

I have used BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Fields plugin so members need to select their height (in feet) using a drop down box.

I want to use the bp profile search plugin to find members by a specified height range. However, I cannot find a way to do this.

For example, I want members to have the ability to search members which have a height between 5″6′ and 6″. Does anyone know the best way of achieving this?

Hi guys,
I’m looking for a bit of plugin advice from an experienced user.
My client wants me to add the following features to her site and I was wondering if any plugins provide this functionality. Ideally a free plugin.

She wants to be able to add her own custom options for user profiles and then allow other users (depending on membership level) to search through these user profiles and filter which results are shown according to the custom options selected.

I hope this makes sense.

I’m pretty confident there must be a plugin that already offers this functionality because of the application potential.

Has any of you guys come across this type of plugin?

Any advice would be much appriciated.
I’m also open to using multiple plugins if needed.

I have been trying to set up user list/searches on my site but keep getting errors.

I have gotten a profile search to work but it only pulls up the users name and it isn’t linked to the user profile so it isn’t overly helpful.

Do you have any documentation on the User List, Profile Search, and User Search functions?
