Hi, I have issues in showing certain fields in both the user profile page and in account page.

User profile page :

This page is created by insert the profile form shortcode. When creating the profile form, I included the username and email fields in it. But I can not see these two fields in the form preview, nor in the frontend page. How to fix it?

Account page :

This page is created using the account shortcode. Under the account tab, there are only limited fields displayed. I wish to add more fields to it to display in frontend page. How to do it?

In November 2023, Google added structured data support for Profile Pages.

Since then, Google Search Console has been throwing a Missing field "mainEntity"error on user profiles generated by BuddyPress and removing these pages from Google Search results.

How can we add the ProfilePage markup to our website’s BuddyPress user profiles using S&SD?

Hey there,

please try to explain me how the profile page is intended to work, because I don’t get it. I want to make a form available where logged-in user’s can change or edit their profiles. So I have a custom page where I place the [profile_newsletter] form. If I go to this page it says “No subscribers found”. If I add the query parameters from the profile URL to the page it works. So my question is do you provide any filters that I can add the required parameters to my custom profile url? The next thing is if I change anything and save, the form redirects me to the default newsletter page but this one should be accessed and used only if anybody uses the link in the email.

I just don’t get it…

Would it be possible to have an option to edit the content of the email that a user receives when updating their profile information (email/name…)? Currently, the email they receive is the same as the activation email they get when subscribing through email validation. As always, thank you very much!

The profile page menu is showing everything twice “about about comments comments”, etc. Also, I tried to view a user’s profile page and it was blank other than the user name at the top. Missing field “mainEntity”

In my research, it appears this usually occurs on FAQ pages and the fix is to add an FAQ block. Since this is for a Profile page, I’m not seeing any fixes. Any ideas on what to do here?
