I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to seek assistance with a specific issue related to the WooCommerce plugin on my WordPress website, https://mavistep.com. Recently, I received an error notification in Google Search Console that reads: “Invalid floating point number in property “price” (in “offers”)”.
Upon further investigation using the Google Rich Results Test Tool, I noticed that the price for my products is listed in the following format: 1,670.00. However, it has come to my attention that it should be indicated in the format: 1670.00 to comply with the expected schema markup.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to rectify this error and ensure that the price format adheres to the correct schema markup format (i.e., 1670.00). This is crucial for maintaining good SEO practices and ensuring that my products are correctly indexed and displayed in search engine results.
If anyone in the WooCommerce community has encountered a similar issue or has insights into how to resolve this, your input would be invaluable.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing your suggestions and recommendations to address this matter effectively.
]]>Invalid price format [price (sub-attribute of [shipping])] – Use a valid price format such as “1.00 EUR” (ISO 4217)
See screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cGiV8bbo8f6
We put our Currency code as a suffix like so: https://cloudup.com/crqeyLQl4sr
Example of our shipping settings (we only enter the number, no currency signs): https://cloudup.com/c6012mtxWLv
The “Final attributes” section in the Google merchant centre (when looking at a single product) shows like this: https://cloudup.com/ch_SBBIgj81 (as CA$6.74)
Our feed shows the shipping price like so: https://cloudup.com/cTz-xPXfsOs
or `<g:shipping>
<g:country>CA</g:country>
<g:service>BC Flat rate (5 – 9 business days) CA</g:service>
<g:price>6.74 CAD</g:price>
</g:shipping>`
Why do we get this warning and how can we fix it?

I would like to buy the PRO version because it is a great plugin.
Currently the Product Feed Pro plugin is showing our shipping rates in the following format:
CAD 6.74
See this example: https://cloudup.com/cmxfsLngfoL
I think Google Merchant Centre now wants it to look like this:
6.74 CAD
With the country currency after the price
We are getting this error: https://cloudup.com/cAQhm6Jg6Rc
It says “Invalid price format [price (sub-attribute of [shipping])]”
When I click on “Learn More” it shows this: https://cloudup.com/c3KS7UHX1h8
There is a line that says “Type Number plus currency (use ISO 4217)” and then it shows examples this way. Here is a URL to their guidelines that I found: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324371?hl=en
I can’t figure out what it wants other than the country currency code to go after the price.
When we format shipping rates in Google Merchant Centre settings, it does not give any other option except to format the price like so:
CA$6.00
In fact, it automatically uses the above format, there is no way to enter anything except numbers.
I looked in the Woocommerce and Product Feed Pro settings to see where this is formatted and I can’t figure it out.
I was able to change the item price format by moving the prefix of ‘CAD’ to the suffix on the price. The result is this: https://cloudup.com/cWJy9LTeujx
I was not able to find where to format the shipping price. It is not in our source code on our product pages (so not in schema), and not available to change in WooCommerce settings (that I could find).
Can you tell me how this can be fixed?
Thank you
]]>Thanks for your help
]]>It’s quite useful since we offer Cash on Delivery. Is it something I can do here too, either in the free or paid version?
Another thing, the Price Format tab is missing entirely in my plugin. I currently use the free version, is that normal?
Cheers,
Stan

Thanks for adding a custom price format filter but I have a problem with it – does not work for me
According to the post “Customizing Price Amount Display Currency Formatting” on your website I added the code to functions.php file… and in cart the price is zero with no currency – it’s a simple ‘0,00’. It looks like price ($price) and currency ($symbol) variables are null.
At first I thought it was a problem with my template but the filter isn’t working even with the default WordPress templates
