When editing a woocommerce product, a new tab opens up and appears to be attempting a preview but the body is blank – my website header with navigation shows at the top. Here is an example URL:
https://roast2order.shop/shop/blended-coffee/k-cups-darker-roast/?preview_id=######&preview_nonce=###aa#aaaf#&_thumbnail_id=#####&preview=true (I replaced all numbers above with the # and letters with a for security purposes)
The same thing happens if I click the preview button on the product page I am editing.
If I remove the &preview_nonce=###aa#aaaf#&_thumbnail_id=#####&preview=true from the url, the preview page displays. This issue is not occuring on post or page edits.
]]>I go to WPForms dashboard, and i click on preview in the little menu bellow the form title, and the result i get is an empty page.
Can u fix it please ?
Thank you.
I went to add a www in the general settings url section. I noticed that instead of my url being [ redundant link removed ] there was an extra suffix after the opals. It was something like https://lopa-opals.something.com.au
, thing is, I can’t remember what the suffix was and I deleted.
Here’s what makes it complicated (to me):
1. My domain was bought through GoDaddy
2. My hosting’s through Hostinger
3. Working on this through wordpress, have the simple SLS plugin installed, I think it’s called, if that makes any difference
4. I hadn’t pointed my hosting to the wordpress version of my website yet because i was using a shopify free trial to get it up and running quicker with the idea to transfer it in a few days when it was ready, BUT I had hooked up my domain to the page, just not pointed it
Now nothing works. I tried going to Hostinger and pointing it to the website properly, checked phpMyAdmin and my url and home are https://www.lopa-opals.com.au
so i’m guessing i’m supposed to point it back to the original suffix, but what is it?! I don’t know why it changed the url in the first place, is it cause it was a preview page?
Been working on this for hours, all of this could’ve been avoided if i just noted down the original url before i changed it, i can’t believe i did this.

]]>I am a newbie regarding wordpress and setting up everything.
My hoster is EuroDNS and I used their open application source in order to install wordpress. That worked fine. Then I logged in in my dashboard and wanted to adjust the site URL, so that people can access my website when they enter my URL (without /wordpress).
Under Settings > General I left WordPress URL as it is and changed the site URL (deleted the /wordpress part).
After that I could not preview pages I built. I redid the step with the site URL and changed it back to xyz.com/wordpress and the preview worked again.
Which step am I missing in order to change the site URL so that visitors can come to my website without entering the ‘wordpress’ ending to the URL?
Many thanks,
viksson
The example URL google search console provides is: https://www.whatisepigenetics.com/rna-methylation-dependent-rna-processing-controls-the-speed-of-the-circadian-clock/?preview=true&preview_id=704&preview_nonce=985d7afa0b
When I Fetch as Google the actual published post, there is no issue.
When I Fetch as Google this and any other preview pages, the same error is returned: (server error (5xx)).
Robots.txt is blocking /wp-admin/ which you need to access in order to be able to view the preview page… Any insight? Is there a way to fix this? How does this impact SEO and pages being indexed?
Thanks for any assistance!
