We are facing an issue with accessing only /wp/wp-admin/plugins.php and wp-admin/update-core.php. All other links are loading fine. This is shared server – CloudLinux Server release 6.8 and the issue is not only for a particular domain. Every wordpress sites in the server is facing the issue.
The only error log available is “Premature end of script headers: cgi_wrapper, referer: https://domain.tld/wp/wp-admin/index.php”
We have tried with the following

1. checked with the php handlers in the server and tried changing it from Apache, cgi and fast-cgi options.
2.Confirmed that there is enough memory in the server.
3.Checked with the files and folder permissions.
4.Backed up plugins and themes and then tried loading the link.
5.Tried loading the links after reconfiguring the domain.
6. increases the PHP memory limit.

But still the issue persists.
FYI :recently an Os update was performed in the server.
The issue is not only with a specific wordpress version.
Any fix or suggestions?

How Can I resolve these errors. These errors get popped up only when I am adding a new post or editing previous posts. And I get “500 internal server error”
Can anyone help me out in resolving this issue? My site is hosted on godaddy on VPS (virtual private server).

]]>trust me, I have read all of the previous threads how to deal with this. Nothing helped and my host says it’s a programming error. So please, please, is there anyone out there who can help me with the following?
I have installed WP 4.2.1 for the third time, including deleting and setting up new databases every time. I go to themes, install themes, upload, choose the correct .zip (uploading it worked on other WP sites), press install, it uploads to 100%, reloads – 500 Internal Server Error. My errorlog says Premature end of script headers.
So I try with different themes, all of them purchased on themeforest and happily running on other websites. Doesn’t work either.
My PHP version is 5.4, I also tried 5.5 and 5.6 without success. My .htaccess is fine. I have exchanged both wp-includes and wp-admin folders entirely at least four times by now. My PHP memory is not exceeded.
What on earth am I missing???

Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.
- I first checked the files to see if they’re there at all, and whether they contained code they shouldn’t, but both exist and seem to be in order.
- Checking file permissions, I found them to be 644 and thus, it’s not like the file can’t be read; it’s also not like /wp-admin isn’t readable, because all other admin pages I tried load fine.
- I then re-installed WordPress using the button on the updates screen, but again nothing changed.
- After that I disabled all addons and tried again, and both pages still keep refusing to load.
- Changing the filename of users.php to something else with extension .php also causes the same error, but if I replace .php by .html the page loads fine — though obviously without being usable. However, this proves the file can be found and read. So why does it 404?
Any help would be much appreciated … it’s not as if I need to add or modify users often, but I would like to have the ability to do so if I have to

As with renatorm’s seemingly identical problem, the following had no effect:
- de-activating others plugins
- changing the theme
- de-activating Jetpack shortcodes module
- re-installing to WordPress 3.7.1 did not fix it

]]>A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again.

This has happened before and I had to redo the form again but now it won’t update at all. I now have three copies of the form as each time this has happened I had to do a new one. Now I can’t even do a new one as it won’t save.
I love this plugin and have donated numerous times to help support it. But now I really need help!

I have added max_input_vars = 3000 to the php.ini file which did help the first time. I also, disabled the theme and tried the WP 2012 theme and disabled any other plugins. The only other plugin on this site is all in one seo pack.
