Hello,

I try to embed a powerpoint presentation to a training website and, for some reason, it fails to upload and display it.
The PDF documents are successfully embedded.

Hi, there. I hope this is posted in the correct forum. There wasn’t a “general” forum for plugins, so I thought I’d try here.

Prezi is a more dynamic and interactive version of powerpoint, in short. If you’re so inclined, you can learn more about it here.

I’m looking for a plugin that functions like Prezi does, in that users can view the Prezi presentation but also interact with it. Currently, we can embed Prezi, but the options are to keep it non-interactive on our site, or link it to the interactive version, but that goes to the Prezi site. We’d like to keep the interactivity on our site, but I don’t know if Prezi allows that (from my understanding, they don’t).

Do any of you have plugin suggestions on alternatives that perform the same type of function that Prezi does, but with the interactivity that can be embedding into the site?

hello, I am able to embed PDFs through the shortcodes in HTML but when I try to get the shortcode for a powerpoint file, the embedded shortcode doesn’t produce the slideshow.

Hi there, we already have software https://www.presentationpoint.com/software/datapoint/ to show bids on a screen via a real-time powerpoint presentation. We are going to use this on a real-time bidding event with online visitors and physical visitors.

Question is how we can link to your data and show the information in real-time? Is there e.g. an URL for read out the biddings in XML or JSON format? Or do we best go into the MySQL tables directly.

PowerPoint Resolution

Hello,

When I embed a PowerPoint presentation, the resolution is extremely poor, to the point that it detracts from the quality so much that it’s not functional.

If I post using iframe/a direct link from SharePoint, the quality is 1:1 with what I’d see presenting through the app. However, embedding links directly from SP comes with its own set of challenges.

Is there a way to retain the original resolution through this plug-in, or get it closer to something that is workable?

I’m building a website for a client.. The website will only accept PowerPoint files to be uploaded in our server by our future members and soon we will start accepting online links.. I would like to ask for your help. We need to show the first slide of the PowerPoint file as the thumbnail preview image post without asking our members to upload .jpg files for the featured image. We want to automate the process.. by not making .jpg files from each PowerPoint files submitted to the website..

Can no longer upload PowerPoints

I use my site to sell PowerPoints. However, when I tried to upload a PowerPoint, I got the error message “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”
I have uploaded over 100 PowerPoints in the past and had no problems. Can you help me?

slide presentation synchronized with audio narration

I made an audio recording of my friend’s presentation of the slides of her recent trip. Is there a way that I can synchronize the showing of the slides with my recording to produce the same kind of experience as someone attending the presentation? Her slides are in a PowerPoint file. I looked for “slide show” plugins but I did not recognize anything that would synchronize the slide transitions with the audio.

Hi,
I have a PowerPoint presentation I’d like to show on via a link on one of my portfolio pages. It was uploaded to my media library as a Powerpoint ppsx file. When the link is click on, rather than just opening it up in a new screen (as I chose in the link options box), the file begins to download on the viewer’s computer. Please let me know how it can just open in a new screen and not download. Thank you.
