Content in posts and pages disappeared

All the text from the pages and posts on my site seems to have disappeared. It’s all still there on the backend when I log in, but doesn’t appear to anyone who visits.

I don’t know what caused the problem — I didn’t change themes or add a plugin, it just happened overnight. I thought it might be an issue with an update, so I left it for a bit and kept applying the new updates, but the problem remains.

My wordpress skills are moderate at best, and I’d really appreciate any help!

Last Post or Product Entered Disappears when entering a new Post/product

Hi. I am hoping someone would be able to help me Please. I am really stuck. When i write a post or enter a product, then the previous ones get overwritten or the one i just written and entered is not there. It just disappears.
This happens with my pages, posts and products that i enter. This has been happening for about 3 days now. I have disabled all of my plugins and only have eCommerce Product Catalog by impleCode, running – but i just installed that and started using this today. Previously i had grid Products running to display my products (i thought that plugin might have been the cause, but it was’nt)

Also the URL for the post i just wrote, points to the previous post. I keep re entering all my posts and products but they just keep disappearing.

I have spoken with my hosting – they say everything is fine on their side and suggested i try find help here. They also suggested to disable all plugins, which i did and they suggested that i switch my account to run a different PHP version (such as PHP5.3 or PHP5.5). Which i did as they suggested.

Now it is worse. It wont allow me to enter a new product – I can enter anything in the title and the permalink will point back to the previous product, and it tells me that “there is a previous version of this post” or “The backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below. Restore the backup.” Meanwhile it is a brand new product i am entering.

Before this, i had a plugin called Wp- Chat that i thought was causing havoc with my site because i could not update any of my pages or posts, so i deleted it but it still remained on my site. I tried everything and the plugin was still there. So i deleted WordPress and started again from scratch. Now i am still having problems with not being able to post new posts and products. Has anyone had this issue? Would someone be able to help? I am desperate! Thank You.

Parts of the site disappearing and reappearing

I created an event and posted and blog and the next day both had gone from the site, i created them again but missed a part of it out, when retiring to complete it i found the posts were back as though nothing happened, also amendments to the main page are not saving and now my kebo twitter feed has gone even though it says connected. could this be some kind of bug causing the problems?

Blog functions not working

I have been having problems off and on for almost 2 weeks now, and it’s getting to a point that it is greatly affecting my productivity. The good news is: Everything on the OUTSIDE looks fine. People can access my site without any problems. The problem lies in the Admin panel. I can access my Admin Dashboard just fine. Again, no problems. Once I’m in there, though, I can’t get much of it to work. It’s like it doesn’t connect to WordPress at all because the WordPress feeds like the WordPress Blog and WordPress News just say Loading… Jetpack will not respond, either.

I have done everything I could before finally coming here – disabling all plug-ins, calling my host to verify it’s not on their end, reverting back to the default, clearing the cache in my browser, using different browsers, using my iPad, using a different computer, etc. Once in a while it seems to be resolved, but then it reverts right back despite not having changed anything at that point. If I try to post when this is happening it will act like it’s posting then bring me back to a blank post and all my work is lost. Sometimes it will appear as if it is connected and working fine, but I always check by clicking on the “Visual” tab. If it doesn’t let me see the visual then I know it’s going to mess up if I try to post. I can also click “Preview,” and instead of showing me a preview it will give me a 404 because as far as everything is concerned I guess that post doesn’t exist at all since it’s not going to post.

My only hope at that point is to post from my iPad or iPhone WordPress App (not the actual WordPress site – but the app). Even that isn’t foolproof, though.

As I said, I have called my host and had them walk through some things with me, I’ve tried reverting back to square one, I’ve tried to have “computer savvy” people help me, and everyone is at a loss. I really need for this to be fixed so I can be more productive on my site again! Please help!! :/

"older posts" showing new posts on page

Hi there,
My older posts are not showing anymore.
The same 10 or so new posts are appearing on page 2/ older posts page even when the older posts link is clicked. I checked the admin section and the older posts are still there. I saw that this question was aksed before but it’s unresolved. I did what they suggested in that post (choose auto correct HTML option in Settings> Writing, then change status of posts from published to draft then to published. That did not help. Please help!

ALSO…how do i get posts only related to portfolio not to appear in the recent posts column?

double posts on 1 post, permalinks

If you look at the page, you will see that an excerpt and image set within a slider frame, along with price tags appears above the real post. This is consistent through all posts.

I noticed when I use custom permalinks, nothing shows up on the post entry. So I changed the permalink back to default. I’m not sure if the two issues are related.

In any case, how can I get rid of the excerpts and just keep the intended posts? Many thanks.

I cannot save or publish any of my posts, and even on the odd occasion where I have published a post… it disappeared a couple of days later…

Draft & Published Posts Disappearing

Hi All,

I’ve had quite a few draft & published posts disappear over the last couple of days.

Just in case my site’s being hacked, I’ve updated my password. But without knowing if that’s the true cause, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there’s a bug that could be causing posts to disappear and if so, how to go about fixing it?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Posts are published, but then disappear

I was sent this note by someone I’m working with:

“about 50% of the time after publishing a post, it disappears right away, and I have to go into “Manage,” hit edit, and save to republish my post. This morning I posted this: [a post] checked multiple times to make sure it was still showing, but when I got home after 8 this evening it had disappeared, along with my tag choices. I had to go into “Manage” again, choose my tags again, and republish.”

Does anyone know what is going on?
