Posts not showing on homepage —?Dashboard says “Write your first blog post”.

Hello,

My posts stopped showing up on the homepage under our slider. When I go into my dashboard it says “Write your first blog post” and when I go preview the other theme’s I’m getting a message that says “Nothing Found
Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.”

I have over 500+ blog posts that show up under our index but are not showing up on homepage. If you look at my current homepage, there is just a slider — I adjusted my current homepage to not contain posts as the site had a giant blank space under where the posts were supposed to go. Under the slider there is supposed to be a list of recent posts but they completely disappeared. How do I fix this!? Where did these posts go and why did they stop showing up?

I tried going into Settings > Reading > Front Page Display > Most Recent Posts but that didn’t work. Why is it showing I haven’t written any posts? Any help is appreciated!!

Posts disappeared after changing the post page permalink

Hi all,

I need urgent support for my blog infobynet.com .

This morning I was looking for page related errors in google search console and observed 404 for infobynet.com/home.
To fix this I edited the permalink of my home page (the page which was showing posts and was named as \blog earlier). I renamed it to home (thinking it will match the infobyne.com/home (big fool I was).

After this all post vanished from the blog except the most recent one.

Immediately I renamed the page permalink to again \blog, but still posts are not visible there.

Please help me fix this.

Hi All,

I seem to have encountered an issue with my blog, I have been posting quite frequently in the last month however when I woke up this morning everything that I have been doing (ranging from emails to draft posts) has disappeard – it is like my blog has been restored without my knowledge and I have sent out links to big marketing companies who would like to be featured on my blog but there is no new content

I did not have back-up plugins installed to my blog

Please help!

Can't see blog posts after 4.4.1 update

After installing the update, my previous postings no longer show on my page, and new postings don’t either. They are still callable from the archives. I’m a total novice, so when I read earlier posts about deleting and replacing the files, I have to confess I don’t know where to find the files. Sorry to be so uninformed.

Posts not appearing on home page

Hi! the theme I am using on my blog is MASONIC but after the 1hour maintenance this week my home page is not loading properly. The post tiles on the home page only show the title and featured image,but the text has disappeared .

I have installed the plugin and configured it to syndicate posts from a facebook page. It worked out of the box. But after few automatic updates, every post syndicated was gone. I tried to change settings (like do not create tags etc…) and launched manual update, but nothing to do. I cannot see particular errors in the diagnostic. Also there’s nothing in the wp_posts tables of the database. Not sure what to do. Others plugins are not good as this so it seems I have no other choice.

All the posts on my forum have disappeared, although you can see that a last post has been made.

Also I cant login to my admin panel, and get this message, anyone know how I can fix this.

missing sticky posts

I had have only 2 “sticky posts” on my blog for a while , but then I marked 4 blog posts as “sticky” and 2 of them just disappeared. Its giving me an error 404. They are popular post and i need to recover them. It’s very strange, they don’t even appear on my wordpress dashboard.

Since upgrading to WP version 3.9, my blog page is not showing any posts (even though posts are still showing up in other areas). I tried reinstalling, but no dice.
