We’d like to use custom format inside “Search Appearance > RSS > RSS feed settings”. Basically, we want to use this line “Published with permission from XYZ. Source.” and link the “Source” word with the post link. In another word, this variable %%POSTLINK%% with different anchor text.

Please advise, We couldn’t find any information on the forum and internet-wide.

The standard text in RSS feed includes both the variable %%POSTLINK%% as well as %%BLOGLINK%%, but only %%BLOGLINK%% is correctly included in the RSS feed (%%POSTLINK%% is ignored, leaving empty the text position where it should appear). I’m using Yoast V15.5 and WP V5.6

First let me state the problem: I’d like to remove links to posts from my portfolio page.
I’m using Klasik Themes photo filter widget(it came with my theme) and it works like this: I make an empty post and add a thumbnail and category then the filter takes care of the rest, it displays the photos and their respective post titles neatly and even has filter for the categories, but the posts are empty so i dont want the titles to be linked to these posts.

Note:I’ve tried the code replacement method being:

<h2><a>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>

change into

<h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

in the index.php file but it didn’t work. Also i tried doing the same in other php files and still nothing.

Maybe someone here might have some insight into this matter.

• WordPress 4.0.1

With this custom url Permalink
/%category%/%postname%/

But some problem on Permalink config page :

List format is

%date% %post_link% %excerpt%

but not each entry for an article (link and excerpt) is neatly formatted with a space between the next entry and sometimes the link runs into the following excerpt text (cf. March 2014 entries as against April and others).

I have a problem with the Event link in the grey meta box.
The link on the images AND the link on the Title of the event just under the image are both fine BUT not the link in the grey meta box where a date is diplayed (the date of the event) This links to a different archive and gives me LOTS of 404’s

HOW do I change this link to math the other two that correctly links to the “eventname” (postname) as specified in permalinks.
