Template will not allow me to post more pictures

It seems I am not able to add new pictures to my template after upgrading to WordPress 4.0. Not sure if it is my template (Kallays) or if I’m missing something.

Suggestions?

Hi I am having problems getting NextGEN Gallery to produce thumbnails of my pictures. The message I keep getting is this

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 59506688) (tried to allocate 14592 bytes) in /homepages/38/d390643593/htdocs/New Heavybrigade/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php on line 179

I am a complete noob to NextGEN and posting pictures onto wordpress so please could someone explain what does it mean and what do I do about it.

Problem posting pictures in 3.03

When I get the pictures uploaded to the Gallery and “Save” the thumbnails do not display and the “show” button does not open in order to edit or delete etc. Multiple other problems have occurred in the process of posting pictures to the site. On a previous forum post it was suggested that the problem was the server GD Library which I have got the version and parameters from the hosting service as follows:

Hostpapa Canada
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
FreeType Version 2.2.1
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XPM Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

Help!! I am trying to do my photo Friday post and got this error message when I tried to downlad pictures

Unable to create directory /home/.jennifur/webdesign/familyadventureguidebooks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I host my own word press blog on my own server. I don’t even know who .jennifur is. Please help me figure out how to get back on track for my train post ;).

importing images into posts

For the past few times I’ve tried to copy and paste a jpeg image fr my destop to a post, the picture doesn’t show, but the square with the ? does.

Why? How can I get the real picture in there?
