1. Is there a more detailes dokumentation?
2. I like customising my themes. Can I embed the voting manually in my themes single.php with some php snipped?
3. Can I theme the output from the “most liked shortcode”? I think gets rendered as a plain list, like the widget screenshot. I would like to theme it like the output from my regular wp loop (archive).
4. Related to last quesion. Can I call the votings in some way to use it for sorting the regular wp loop?
5. Feature Request: Would be nice to have an option for the “most liked widget”/”recented voted widget” to dynamic list the most liked posts in active category/Tag archive and single view. For example:
   Home -> Most liked posts global
   Category Archive X -> Most liked posts in Category X
   Tag Archive Y -> Most liked posts tagged with Y
   Single Post View -> Most liked posted based on posts Category (or first attached category if more then one..)
6. Feature Request: Rich Snippets. When Up/Down Voting is used, you could easy convert Ratings to a 0-5 Point Rating outputting Google Rich Snipped. For me I would like to call each teh Up and Down Voting count manually for further usage. Is this possible?

Basicaly I want to build some kind of Social News Site and searching for a Up/Down voting plugin to sort posts in different places (Question 3-5). Rhich snippets would just be an easy addon feature

I can’t figure out following thing – I have multiple single.php files (depend on category) for each chapter of my site. And I have home chapter, where all the posts are displayed. Therefore every post should be displayed in different template depending from the place from where it is clicked.
For example, post from category media, when clicked in Media chapter, appears in Media template, but clicked in Home chapter, should appear in Home template.

Any suggestions?

Basically I want a list of “sorting” links in the sidebar called “Recently Modified” , “Recently Added” , “Sort Alphabetically” , etc. I would like to be able to click this and have the loop populate with posts that fit the criteria.

Make sense?

I feel like this is out there somewhere already, I’m just not sure how to link a word in the sidebar.php and have that link call a function that them shows up in index.php.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It’s perfect in every way except one: I need to be able to use the rating system to display posts in order from 5 stars to 1 star. And I don’t want the stars to show up on the live site either (this is already built into the plugin).

This should be easy for plugin devs and higher-than-my-level programmers (which doesn’t say anything for my level, believe me)… Even the original plugin author made mention of it in the comments:

“I definitely considered doing that. Ideally I wanted to be able to order posts by rating as well (highest to lowest or vice versa) but didn’t have the time to persue it.

I don’t think it would be very difficult — it’s just a matter of writing a function that makes the right type of calls to the database and filters using the custom ratings meta data.”

I just don’t know about writing functions and calls and filters and such. Normally, I have a programmer I outsource to who does this sort of thing for me – but he’s booked up and I need this done by the end of the month.

I’d be willing to make a PayPal donation or some such if that’s what it takes… but it doesn’t seem difficult for someone with the knowledge to do it.

Anyone?
