[New Plugin] Advanced Recent Posts Widget

I’m pleased to announce a new plugin called Advanced Recent Posts Widget that I developed. It is a light widget advanced version of the WordPress Recent Posts widget allowing increased customization to display recent posts from multiple categories or from custom post types.

Total Control Of Post Positions

I am trying to find a plugin or a great way to be able to position my posts exactly the way I want them.

If I wanted certain posts to appear on the home page of my choice

Also

Categories I want to be able to order the posts in each category.
So lets say I had a review site and called the category top 10 I would want to be able to take posts and order them 1 through 10

Right now I got to do it by date but increasing and decreasing dates, just looking for better control… plugin, script, code whatever… thooughts?

Submit A Post Plugin??

I’ve been looking and looking but can’t quite seem to find a plugin that allows non-registered (or registered) users to Submit a Post that would go into a moderation que.

Has anyone seen one or used one? I’ve been looking through the Plugin repository and there are SO MANY POSTS PLUGINS but nothing that does what I want it to do. I suppose I could enable the “write php code in your posts” plugin then pull the components out that I need to create a work around. But I really don’t want my contributors to be able to run their own PHP code. So I’m trying to avoid that if I can.

Anyway, if any of you have some ideas that would be awesome!

Need help with plugin order in posts

For my site I have several plugins that are active in posts. I want to change the order; how would I go about doing this?

For example; I have a “Share this article” plugin, “Signature” plugin, and “Related Posts” plugin at the end of each post but I want to change the order in which they appear. I’m assuming is somewhere in the code but I’m not sure how to do it. Thanks!

I was wondering if their was a plugin that creates small thumbnailed links by using an image attached too a post and displaying it in a small category of sorts. This site kinxxx.com has a good example, on the bottom of the main posts is a Latest Post section with small thumbnails of the posts, i use 2.1 , been googling and yahooing trying to find a plugin like this but with no luck.. thanks in advance!
