Hi, I watched the tutorial from this post, but unfortunately, there is no taxonomy to choose from the Post Loop Widget.

There’s a daunting number of widgets out there. Does anyone know of a good post loop widget. I want to enter items/products as posts instead of having to add them each time to a page. Then on a products page I want a post loop to list the products. I see that there are many post loop widgets that support comprehensive queries of the loop data (good), but I’m not finding one that also gives me good layout tools. Ideally I would like to be able to visually place loop fields on a “display” form and control layout, fonts and colors. Any suggestions?

Post Loop content.php doesn't work

Hello,
when i use the Post Loop widget and select “content.php” as a “Template”, the site loads extremly long and then shows nothing.
Unfortunately, the other Templates (content-header.php, content-none.php, content-pagenavi.php) also aren’t acceptable solutions.
I hope you can help me.

Hi! How can I specify the category in the “Post loop” Widget? There is space for “additional”, but what to write there? “cat=…”?

Post Loop Widget Issue

Hi,

Loving the theme and I will definitely be going for the premium version very soon.

I have one question. I have added the “Post Loop” widget to my front page but there is a problem. It is showing the first 6 posts, but if you click any of the next numbered pages 2,3,4 etc they go to blank cannot be found page.

The widget creates the following link for page 2 for example https://yourdreamhome.es/propertyspain//page/2/ but the correct link should be https://yourdreamhome.es/propertyspain/index.php/latest-news//page/2/ it seems to be missing out the index.php/latest-news part.

I am a bit new to WordPress but have been getting on wel but this has really stumped me, can anyone help?

Hey Gang,

I’m using the Vantage Premium template. My site is www.asocialmess.com.

I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to coding language, but can follow directions. I am trying to use page builder on my home page and utilize the post loop (PB) widget. At first, I didn’t understand why it wasn’t showing an image when selecting various options (like the carousel or loop). I realize now that I need to select a “feature image” for each blog (only took me 4 years). This is great for fixing the widget, but I don’t necessarily want that image to show up on the top of my blog posts…just in the teaser. Does that make sense? Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

Firstly thank you for your work.

Problem:

Edit? Post Loop (PB) Widget

– Template content/content-image.php

– Posts Per Page: 3

– Order: Descending

– Sticky Posts: Only Sticky

Undesired/Expected Result: More than 3 posts… sticky or not… more than five in multiple tests.

Thanks for your attention on this… with no workaround, kinda stuck for what to do as I’m using it as part of my front page development.

‘Bonus’ problem affecting more novice users:
Set Template to content/content-page.php
Set Post type to “post”
Result:
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request…”

Might be useful to spit out a warning plus documentation as what/what not to do.

Workaround: Back Button, then Choose compatible combination, trial and error if needs must.
