I wanted to ask if it is possible to access the “Post Format” in “Select Post Types”. I would like to filter out only the “Quote Post Formats” so that the user only sees the quotes.
Thank you in advance.

I’d really appreciate any help I could get!
]]>I am excited about your plugin, I already (successfully) created few Random Post buttons for my website I am building,
but I am struggling with creating buttons for which I need to exclude “Post Format”, specifically “Post Format – Link” (the theme of my website offers Standard, Video, Audio, Gallery and Link Post Format options).
I haven′t found the solution neither in the documentation nor in this forum (maybe I just missed it?), and I′m no professional in this field, so could you please tell me what exactly I need to add to the URL to exclude Link posts?
Thank you kindly for your help, and for the plugin
]]>I thought Post Format may be the way to go, and there is one for “Link” that seems to match up well, but I’m not sure what to do with all the old “posts” that are really just PDFs to view/download.
I’d like to avoid them having to click on the Post Title and then click a post that is basically blank and just the PDF as it an education site geared toward the K-8 American community, so the easier the better.
I have added the PDFs to my Media Library and don’t mind programming the theme to recognize it’s PDF only content, but I’m honestly unsure the best way to tell WordPress this is an old PDF only piece of content.
In the future they may continue to use PDF only content, or write about the PDF (which is great out of the box), and I don’t want to use a Custom Post Type (too confusing in Admin) or add tags or categories to these (too confusing on front end) so I thought Post Format would be helpful.
Would it be best to use the “Link” post format for all these and just have some be links external and some be links to my Media Library of PDFs, or is there a better way to set this up?
Thanks!
]]>In my view, that would greatly simplify the display of posts with specific content like audio, video, gallery, etc.
Thank you in advance for attention.
]]>For example, lets say I choose the “Link” format in the “Post Format” drop down on the Post “Dashboard” page. The user/writer/publisher choosing this option would most likely want to quickly share a URL with either a custom title and/or a quick snippet of text below it. The interaction would be a quick share vs. an involved traditional blog post/article. So shouldn’t the Dashboard interface change to accommodate that?
I would anticipate that the options on the main area (where I would put the content) of that “Dashboard” page would change but this is not the case on any of the Post Format options. For the “Link” post format, I’d anticipate that the Title is still there but maybe there is a field to paste in the link I want to share, and maybe there is another area for a quick text snippet. And then when I hit Publish, the link wouldn’t actually display on the post and the Title would link to that URL.
Are there any instructions or posts out there that would help me figure this out?
]]>I managed to set the plugin up quickly on my site, but ran into a problem: I need the “Post format” to be automatically set to “Image”, not “Standard”. Is that something I can achieve with the free version?
PS. I have set the “Default Post Format” in WordPress “Writing Settings” under to “Image”, but that doesn’t help with USP.
1- I need to use the video feature in some articles, that is: replace the featured image with a video. But I couldn’t do that with Blocksy and I also didn’t find WP’s default “post format” options, which is present in other themes. How to solve?
2) In the “Persona” template, a different effect appears in the titles of the pages and blog, (but it does not appear in the homepage). How to edit?

Thank you very much!
]]>I’ve set the post format as “Gallery” and uploaded some images to the gallery section, however the pictures don’t show up on the post itself. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks
