Post Expiration reset when update the post

Hi
i have problem with post expiration.
When i update post by wpuf Edit page is post expiration will be reset to default value
and the hiden field values disappear.
Anyone can help me to fix that.

Version 2.7.2 – cron issues

Was told to use Version 2.7.2 to fix the current cron issues. That’s the version that started the whole issue – we are currently using that version.

Issues include: Orange button with exclamation mark – error message is “Cron Event Not Found”; category replace has stopped working correctly – possible due to the cron error.

Have tried disabling plugins and it made no difference.

The wp-rollback plugin is untested and can’t be installed on our production sites. Is there a site where I can download an older version?

Name Change?

All of sudden today our Post Expiration plugin is gone and in it’s PublishPress Future – did I miss a heads up on the change?
So is it the same interface? Will it honor the existing expiration dates? I have a LOT of users that don’t need a sudden learning curve on a plugin.

At the moment it’s the same – but I’m afraid if I install this update it will F up the current set up.

Expiration Date

I would like to start using the post expiration date function on my date-dependent posts such as job ads etc. However, I don’t want the posts to be deleted – simply put back into draft or pending review format. I can’t find information anywhere about what happens to expired posts. Are you able to help with this?

I don’t know how to achieve something which sounds very simple and I would welcome some thoughts from this creative and knowledgeable community.

I have a site where I would like to have some intro text most of the time. But when there is news, I would like that intro text to be replaced with the news item. As the news ages off I would like to show my default text again. Of course, I would like titles to come with the text as well as the “Read more” type links.

Let’s take a look at the specific setup I have on my beta site (https://beta.sammamishmosque.com):

The text “We are the local Masjid (mosque) located in the heart of Sammamish…” is the default text with the header “Welcome to Sammamish Mosque!”. This should be there most of the time.

But sometimes, especially when there is an announcement or breaking news, I want a president’s message displayed. In the current example it is the text beginning with “On behalf of the SMA boards, I would like to invite you to our annual neighborhood picnic.” is a time-relevant President’s Message that is only relevant till the picnic occurs together with the header “President’s Message”. Then, after the picnic is over, it should go back to the default text. I need to be able to decide ahead of time when a news item will become irrelevant.

At any one time, there should only be the default text or the latest news item displaying. Since I don’t know how to do it right now, on my beta site I am displaying both.

Also, on another page I would like to be able to list all the news items.

How can I achieve this through WordPress? It sounds totally doable, but I can’t seem to find any combinations of plug-ins that would make this possible.

I want to find all the expired post in my site in one place, i have a contesting site and a lot of posts get expired in my site everyday. I just need to find the list through the search bar of the website or any other way if possible. Please help me on this. And is it possible to hide all this expired posts from the front-end when the expired prefix appears on the post title? just hide those from the home page or the categories, not from the crawlers.

Plugin to Schedule/Expire/Repeat Posts?

I’ve been looking for 24 hours now, turning up lots of plugins which allow you to Schedule/Expire/Repeat post CONTENT using shortcodes … BUT, does anyone know of a plugin which will allow you to:
– Schedule a POST to occur on a certain repeating Date (or day of the week/month)
– Expire the POST (ie: turn it to draft/private) after X days of being published
– Repeat the POST to Publish again after a set interval (ie: annually, monthly, weekly)

I’ve come across some things. It might even be possible to hobble together all 3 of those, using 3 different plugins. I really need to do this, as I want to set up Annually repeating GROUP dripped content for Subscribers to a Group learning Course.

I was wondering if there is any possibility to set an expiration date for each post.
Suppose you add a job on a website then job’s closing date is 1 month later. Instead I, going to close that post, it would be perfect if that date the post expired by it.
