Do I need Multisite to get this functionality?

Hi everyone,

I’m clueless on how to get the needed functionality in WP.

I’m working on a multi-portfolio site where each user after registration should be able to create and edit a single page (post) in blog. They should also be able to put it in a category (of all the existing ones) according to their profession. They shouldn’t be able to edit comments, though.

How can I make this work? Is there any plugin that does that or do I need to set up Multisite? I need to add that it will be my first time with MU and that’s why I’m asking.

Gridly theme – number of posts displayed per page

Using the Gridly theme, just wondering if anyone has a solution: I’ve adjusted the width of the #wrap (to 920px) and centred the content – now posts are being shown in two columns. Anyway of making posts into 3 columns? The example: https://catillest.com/portfolio…

I’ve tried adjusting #post-area .post and #wrap widths but no luck so far… Any help appreciated!

Trouble with Image Link URLs

Hello,
I am building a portfolio site and ran into trouble with linking image thumbnails to their attachment link pages. It all worked fine when I first added all the thumbnails and linked them to the image pages but then all of a sudden it didn’t work, I’m not sure why, and I just get “Page not found” when clicking on the thumbnails- see for yourself! https://cathydurso.net/?page_id=202

I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. Any suggestions on what to do? I didn’t change any of the permalinks or anything, they are set to the default urls.

Hello everyone,

My name is Chris “Geeb” Smith and I am a WordPress lover! I have recently graduated with my masters from Illinois State University and have been developing WordPress sites for almost two years. Currently, I work as an intern designing and developing sites (some use WP, some are basic html & css), and have been finding lot’s of work as a Freelance developer. My site design has been mostly a limited discussion between friends, professors and colleagues. I wish to find a new source of feedback and inspiration on these forums. Beautiful pictures, free service, no signups – why?

Thanks to Alex Rabe’s great NextGeneration Gallery tools, I was able to launch this interior design portfolio site from scratch in 30 days.

It has over 300 images and a free offer.

But not one person has signed up for a phone call.

Is it slow? Technical problem? Message problem? I am not seeing the problem.

What do you think?
