Wp Statistics outgoing Port 80 Connections?

Does the plugin “WP Statistics” make some connections over port 80? Because right after I activated the plugin I got a firewall blocking message from my hoster that some outgoing connections were blocked:

Hello, there was a problem when i am using XML sitemap. I tried to notify google about my sitemap, but it noticed me that “WP HTTP API Web Request failed: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to www.google.com port 80” . I informed that happen to my server hosting and they have no idea to fix it. Do anyone have this problem as well and fixed?

SendGrid to sunset Web API access via port 80

I successfully run WP Mail SMTP with Sendgrid since a couple month. These days Sendgrid contacted me via email to let me know that they are sunsetting API access via port 80. Furthermore they are writing that I used this port up until know and that I should change to HTTPS Port 443 by October 1st.

As I’m having a standard Sendgrid integration with WP Mail SMT, I’m wondering if this is something that I can solve or it requires the plugin to be updated by you, to avoid interruptions in email delivery.

I am trying to fix a friends website and there is an error message and won’t allow login to the wp-admin page to fix the issue.

The Error message at the bottom of the page says this: Apache Server Port 80

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

Calculated Fields Form Plugin being identified as a malicious file

I’d installed the latest version of the Calculated Fields Form plugin a couple of days back. However, it was identified as a malicious file by my hosting company (Hostgator) and they blocked my Port 80.

Things went fine when I deleted the plugin file through my File Manager from cPanel.

Yesterday I again installed the plugin to give it a try thinking that it could have been due to an error from Hostgator.

Unfortunately I received an email from Hostgator about the same plugin file and they blocked my Port 80 again.

As of now, I have deleted the plugin and looking for a solution.

This is an awesome plugin with amazing features and I’m looking forward to have it on my website to offer pricing estimations to clients.

Please help me out with this.

I had to disable this plug in.

In order to debug I put WordPreass in the debug mode and fixed all my warnings and notices except these 2:

I was still having the server error. I did some work and found that the YOP Plug in was causing the is_archive and is_home notice.

I also found a $error “Maybe Here” that kept showing up on my logs in one of the files. I tried to comment it out but then it crashed the whole plug in, even after I undid my change.

Once I deactivated the plug in my server error went away.

I like this plug in but I can’t run it on my site.

Not sure if anyone is still monitoring this, but I am trying to use the CAS plugin on a WordPress site. The site has an SSL certificate, so I configured the plugin to use port 443, but for some reason it is redirecting to port 80, so not working correctly. Any ideas why this would happen?

So, this is odd …. I own the server, have 30+ WordPress installs on it, but for some bizarre reason this installation doesn’t like the ‘Plugins’ section to be added …. I’m getting this error:
