I would have thought it was always good policy to have 2 images.
For example… a front page slideshow…
I will upload 1920 x 400 images (just made that up) for each image.
On the mobile version… yes the CSS changes to optimise for mobile…
But it still uses the big image.
Is there any reason why this is?
Lazy coding?
Or hard to do and maintain on WP?
I don’t think this has to be complicated, but there have to be followed a number of steps.
Functions I’m looking for:
1) A visitor comes to my website, goes to the “writing online section” and chose one of the writing exercises options.
2) A number of fields appear. A bit like a form, but with two big differences. The fields are asking for (for example) “an animal, including article”, “an negative emotion” or “a place you want to go when you’re on holiday”.
When the visitor clicks on the “submit” button, the fields aren’t send by e-mail, but are saved somewhere for the next step.
It would be great to have a button “custom”, which provide custom variables, when clicked.
3) After completing and submitting the fields, the visitor goes to a page where there is an intro text, with the variables, that were just filled in.
(For example: “Imagine that you’re [an animal]. One day you wake up and you feel [negative emotion]. Somehow you get the idea that you should go to [a place you want to go when you’re on holiday] to feel better. Describe how you arrive there, how you interact with the other guests and how all this is helping your mood.” – Which shows of course with the variables from the visitor: “Imagine that you’re a lion. One day you wake up and you feel done short. Somehow you get the idea that you should go to a resort on a tropical island to feel better. Describe how you arrive there, how you interact with the other guests and how all this is helping your mood.”)
Under the intro text there’s a text field, where the visitor can write the story.
Preferably there’s also a timer, to set the time for the exercise. After the time expands, the visitor can write on, but knows officially the time is up. Maybe this could also be an custom option for the visitor.
There’s a field for an email address.
There’s a check box, which gives the visitor the possibility to “share the story”, when checked.
If the check box is checked, a field for a “publishers name” appears.
When done, the visitor clicks on the “submit” button. When the share box is unchecked, the written story is send to the visitor only. When the box is checked, the story is send to the visitor and to me, so I can judge if the story can go on my website.
4) Preferably all data gets erased after the exercise is done.

I’ve looked at custom fields, metadata, insert data in DB, taxonomy, various options in wordpress, various options in contacts form 7, but none of these seem to do what I want.

Blotting blue the sky above,
Splashing flowers ‘cross the ground beneath,
Shading white clouds with His glove.
Of the wonders God has made
There is none that is so fair
As the smile He paints upon your face
When you realize He’s there.

We are working on a Wp installation that will allow people to select poems/verses for loved ones memorials….
I need a plugin of some kind that will allow me give the title of the poem/verse in a menu and once selected, have that poem text selectable for copy-paste into a form on the same page.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for something like this?
Thanks,
Aaron
Check it out, and if you like poetry, feel free to subscribe.
